One and a half hour wait to get in on a Sunday morning. I ordered the Hot Chicken and Waffles with homefries and a carafe of Bloody Mary.
The waffles and syrup were delicious, the potatoes were seasoned perfectly, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the chicken. It was moist and good and hot, but didn't seem to have much flavor.
Great atmosphere and the coffee shop makes really good coffee, the staff is also phenomenal. While I wasn't dazzled this time, this is definitely a place I'd come back to to try other items.

The drinks were geared for tourists - over promised and under delivered.
Food was good though.

Our family had breakfast here on our way out of town on an early Sunday morning. Our food was truly terrible and also overpriced. $7 for a tiny cup of orange juice. The homemade pop tarts were dry with no filling hardly at all. Two croissant sandwiches both had runny eggs… in a sandwich. The hot mess was so dry I had to choke it down and the sunny side up egg was cold - yuck!! My son’s granola and yogurt was ridiculous. The granola came out in a huge bowl with a tiny (like maybe 1/2 cup) of yogurt on the side. So weird! He basically had a dry bowl of granola. I wouldn’t even look at the bill because I was going to lose it so I just left and went to the car while my husband paid. What a waste of time and money.

I wanted to try Milk & Honey for the longest time and was happy to see they were now on DoorDash. Unfortunately today was my first and last time ordering here as my food was burned and inedible. Truly disappointed.

Outrageous prices, $19 for a chicken biscuit is crazy.

Honestly not worth the wait. Nothing special. Your better off going to first watch or broken egg. 100% better alternatives

I've worked upstairs of Milk and Honey for over a year now. Let me tell you why I avoid this place like the plague.
TL;DR - Milk and Honey is marred by inconsistent food quality, mistakes, and is only popular with tourists because of it's location. Total tourist trap. Go anywhere else if you care about the quality of your food. If you're already drunk, maybe the food will be passable.
Unfortunately, I had to order takeout online today from M&H because my other reliable options were closed by the snow. My order was ready on time, and payment through Toast was easy. The staff was friendly as always. However, I realized I had been given a turkey and brie sandwich when I got to my office, instead of the turkey avocado - my mistake for not checking, although "TURKEY AVO" was written on my takeout box, and was on the check and the bag. Fine. The staff was yet again kind and promptly went to fix my order, but when it came back out it looked like the sandwich had been half thrown together. My suspicion was confirmed back in my office as the sourdough was untoasted, the turkey was cold, and my to go box still had raspberry jam on the bottom. The home fries I'd ordered were even colder and soggier than when I got them the first time. It's clear to me the kitchen staff couldn't care less and threw away the wrong sandwich just to hastily make a cold, soggy, turkey avocado without paying any attention to the quality of the meal. This is my 5th or 6th takeout meal from M&H, and each time I've been underwhelmed with the quality of the food for the price.
Besides this take out experience being the breaking point, I've also sworn off ordering coffee from their to go cafe. There was a period of time where I'd order a cold brew dang near daily from M&H. It was never something exceptional, but it was usually drinkable. Usually. The only consistent thing about the cold brew was how inconsistently it was made. Some days it was so weak it tasted like tap water. Others, I watched staff pass off room temp drip coffee as cold brew. Even worse, I had multiple cold brews that were flat out undrinkable because they tasted absolutely foul. Multiple times I had the baristas remake my cold brews, sometimes successfully, others not so much because the concentrate was just rancid. The staff was always very friendly and understanding (especially after I asked them to taste so they knew what I meant). Quite a shame that quality isn't a priority for M&H.
Not once during any of these experiences was I offered a refund or any sort of compensation for my wasted time. The staff has always been friendly and always apologized, but there comes a point where a restaurant is just genuinely bad.
It makes a lot of sense that M&H is always busy - the location is stellar for tourism. But there may be a reason why I've never heard a Nashville local suggest going there... If you're planning to down mimosas, daydrink, and are ok with a 30+ minute wait, M&H is a fine option. But if you're someone who wants a good eating experience with quality food, exceptional service, and consistency, there are many other options along 12 South, downtown, Midtown, East Nash, or Wedgewood Houston that I'd pick over here.

Food is good, close to average but good. (A little expensive but good).
Bakery DELICIOUS.
The place has an amazing ambiance that makes everything cozy.
If you are a matcha lover, this is not the ideal place to order one, nevertheless coffee and lattes are good.
If you seat at the bar, Kenzo is the best she'll help and take care of you amazing!

We visited Milk & Honey on a Saturday in February. For an “out of season” visit the place was bustling. There was a short wait for a table so we opted for the bar. This was a great decision since our bartender Josh was fantastic. His energy was infectious and he was ready with suggestions, options and the specials. All of the staff was courteous and efficient and could tell they really worked together to secure a terrific experience for every guest. I was skeptical that with the crowed we would get the quality plates we were looking for. But the kitchen double down on my pessimistic expectations. We had the hot mess and chicken and waffles. Both were delicious perfectly plated, temperatures ideal and portions just right. The atmosphere was a bit tight and the folks coming in and out of the open patio brought frigid air with every staff passing. But all around Great spot in a city full of choices. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Good location, great service. Crowded and cold when the door opened. I was truly disappointed with the honey butter biscuits though. The cinnamon roll did not disappoint. The Dr. feel-good juice was good with a tad of spice from the cayenne but to me who loves healthy fresh juice it was perfect.
Parking: Paid parking lot across the street first hour was free.
Wheelchair accessibility: Would be difficult to navigate with a wheelchair as space was limited.

Ate Lunch here at Milk & Honey when I visited Nashville last year. I had a California Grilled Chicken Bowl and my husband had a biscuit meal. I don’t usually order a salad but that time reading the description that salad sounded so good and it was :)
