Recently I had a couple of disappointing meals here. A pho and a vermicelli. Copious noodles, bland ingredients, skimpy herbs. I haven’t been a while but used to eat here all the time, for years. The quality of the food is way down from what I remember as excellent and the menu is now very limited. Maybe new owners? Basic stuff, mediocre preparation. They need more service people to turn the empty tables around. Sitting next to debris and half finished food is icky. The place was always funky but kinda charming. Now it’s just dumpy.

A pork bahn mi is my favorite meal, and theirs did not disappoint. The baguette had the perfect amount of crunch, the pork was perfectly seasoned, and the veggies just bring this sandwich together. We also got egg rolls, which were so good. My only “complaint” is I wish they were a little more eco friendly. The egg rolls came in a throw away paper boat/tray, the water came in styrofoam, and the smoothie came in a plastic cup. Since we were eating in the restaurant, I would have thought it’d be a normal reusable cup, but this is more of a nit picking thing than anything.

Stop in for a quick bite on my way out of Nashville.... the place was very relaxing and quiet and comfortable... I had a vermicelli bowl with chicken and an egg roll.... the egg roll was the highlight of the meal.... the vermicelli was very plain and the chicken was just mediocre.... would not recommend this spot

I was driving and saw this place and thought about giving it a try, I go in and the customer service was great and the vibe of the restaurant was nice. It’s more affordable compared to other places too.
However the worst part was the food. Maybe it was an off day I don’t want to be mean since the customer service was very nice. I had a bug in the food of the person who came with me, and the pho I had was very underwhelming and tasted really oily/greasey compared to other restaurants(my meat in the pho was also really really red). What made it worse is they said here’s a discount due to the bug, and it was just half off price on the plate that had it. We were already fed up, and just left after paying.
The customer service was great, the vibe of the place was great, super chill. I just think the chief had a bad day, or something. This was my first time there and probably gonna be my last. Hopefully this is just a really bad day at the restaurant.
Apon arrival we were not acknowledged, the old man who seats people and takes payment at the end is extremely rude and argumentative. Food tasted rushed for no reason.
