I ordered the turkey and dressing which was not tasteful the Mac and cheese tasted like milk and the greens weren’t good either. The quantity and quality of the food didn’t match the price it’s very much overpriced. My first and last experience
Wow... I'm sorry, but I gotta say it. Ms Monique is the aunt that brings the potato salad to the cookout.Everybody knows what time it is and acts accordingly. If you're part of the culture, you know exactly what I'm saying.

It was my first time visiting Monique’s. I was not pleased with the food or the price. I got the Turkey and Dressing which was very bland, Mac and cheese was ok, the greens was good and the fried corn was bland. I spent 20 dollars. I will not return. If you want good soul food I suggest every one go to Bailey and Catos in Madison, Tn the food is good and worth your money.

I was expecting a great experience. I'm a truck driver on the road alot. Wanted some home cooked food. I ordered turkey and dressing. I have never experienced shredded turkey as the turkey for the turkey and dressing. Stuffing was dry with no flavor and corn was straight from a can. The collard greens were the best item on my plate. I paid $13.00 for a very small portion. I place emphasis on the shredded turkey that was not even equivalent to a turkey wing. I will not return!

The food is delicious; I had oxtails, turnip greens, mashed potatoes and hot water cornbread for lunch. My desert was banana pudding.

Food was pretty good, especially the chicken. I was a bit disappointed in the portion size, particularly the chicken. For over $15 for chicken and two sides, I expected more than four bites of chicken. Might give it another chance, but I'm wary to go back.
