The food was ok. I think I might have been over expecting the quality. The Service was average. The tables were a little too close for comfort. I was able to hear the couple sitting next to me discussing how they were going to split the bill. I'll be visiting Nashville again soon, and I probably won't go back. It was just OK.
Our server was very nice but the menu was limited.. we felt the portions were small and too many choices were either fried or too heavy. Nice location & good drinks.
I have been to Mockingbird several times and usually have a great experience. This time, less so. I think it could be that they just switched to a new menu and so it was impacting service? But the meals for the 4 of us did not come out at the same time. 2 of us were completely done eating before the other meals arrived and we did have to ask about the other meals not showing up. Our server was super friendly and accommodating, but overall the experience was not great and disappointing overall. Nobody ever checked on how the meals were or if we needed anything after everything arrived. The food was also kind of average compared to how it has been in the past. Probably won't be back again.
One of my favorites, never disappoints! Love the new menu bringing back our favorite names. And some of the new additions- shrimp bruschetta toast- that I go to try, Yummy! Can't wait to go back and get the mussels. Service is fabulous too!
Ambiance needs an update. Food was a disappointment. Does not look like pictures posted. Overall disappointing
Absolutely fantastic, brought a client here for lunch. The food was fantastic and the staff was exceptional! Highly recommend
This was my second experience at a Maneet Chauhan restaurant and I'd say things were definitely consistent. The music and service were great. The food was a bit overly salted and missing a fresh element, at least that's my takeaway from the vegan breakfast burrito. It was exactly as advertised (and identical to the website photo), but a bit dense and one-note. Some fresh spinach or some other vegetable would make the meal feel complete and not just like a heavy salt bomb. I remember feeling similarly after eating at Chauhan Ale House. It's a filling meal, at least.
What a fantastic place to eat. Super fun decor. The BEST Cuban sandwich I have ever had - the pickles are indescribably good. Hard to choose as there were so many delicious choices. Definitely a must-stop on any trip to the Nashville area.
We had friends coming in from out of state and wanted to treat them to a great dinner in the city. We'd never been to The Mockingbird before, but it came highly recommended by our son, so we took a chance. It turned out to be an inspired choice! Our party of 6 dined on the patio. The weather was pleasant. The lighting and music were just right. But best of all, both the food and the service were top notch. From appetizers to salads to entrees, The Mockingbird's menu was varied but original. We and our guests got a kick out of the "punny" names used for most menu items -- they were descriptive without being pretentious. Portion sizes were generous, and The Mockingbird provides a good value for the experience. Pricing is comparable to other restaurants of this style, but we'd return to The Mockingbird for the ambiance alone. Inside seemed cozy without being cramped, and the patio where we dined was pleasant (provided the weather is fine). Additionally, the service was fantastic. Our server was personable, prompt, friendly and attentive. Drinks kept coming, food was delivered in a timely fashion, and he checked in on us regularly. When the bill had been settled and our party lingered in conversation, he still continued to check in with us. This was service done right. We will definitely be back to The Mockingbird. Thank you for making the evening memorable for us and our friends!
The brioche cinnamon buns were amazing! Loaded tots were yummy and the bubbles and juice hit the spot

Arrived at reservation time and was immediately seated outside. There was a huge fan on HIGH blowing directly at everyone sitting outside. Napkins were flying and so was women's hair. Ordered our drinks and food and our server disappeared after that. Our 2 appetizers arrived with no drinks. We waited another 10 minutes before our server showed back up to let us know there was 1 bartender and they were backed up. At this time, the restaurant was NOT busy. 15 more minutes went by, server comes back to let us know drinks still aren't ready, so we requested to cancel and just pay our tab and we left. Keep in mind we ordered the “special” which was the punch bag, so they should have been premade, only had to add the liquor. Very, very dissapointed in the experience. I will say though, the 2 appetizers we had were good. Wish we could have enjoyed more.
Friendly staff but inattentive. Dirty dishes and empty glasses left on the table between courses. Waited too long for just about everything we needed or ordered. The food was average and uninspired considering some of the reviews I read. This isn't the worst restaurant I've eaten in but I can't say that I would recommend it. Loved that it was queer friendly.
Excellent service and food! Our server was super friendly and helpful. We had a group of five and we left very pleased, ready to return at some point soon.
brody was great!!! food and drinks were also delightful. tequila mockingbird is the best drink ever. mikey, the manager, was also so hospitable. lovely experience overall!
First visit. Food and atmosphere were wonderful. Hostess at the front desk was rude and unprofessional - bad first impression. Otherwise a wonderful experience.
