Fun place for Kareoke. Its a $5 fee. Dj was kinda rude at first but once I got the crowd going they were very welcoming

Very entertaining! We felt safe and appreciated the professionalism of the door security personnel.

Great place for drinks and karaoke. However, they do not allow tabs and have a 10$ minimum for cards, and now it falls on the customers to pay for karaoke 5$ per song, so bring cash never seen it before but karaoke host hopefully is making a

We were hanging out at a table because our friend loves karaoke and the entire night she just wanted to do karaoke so we found this bar and as soon as we walked in the door she put her tip in the tip jar and requested her song. We went got drinks and we just waiting for our friend to be called up. An hour passed and she has not been called it was a little busy so we figured she'd be up soon. We were seeing people go up and put a tip in the jar and going right after they requested their song. An hour and a half pasts now so she walked up to the Dj and he told her she was next she said no worries was just wondering where she was at in the line. Another 4 people go and still nothing. Finally she asks again and said she was told she was next and still hadn't gone and he told her again she was next. A few minutes after that a bouncer comes up to our table and said the dj told him our friend was "belligerent" and needs to leave now. So apparently they just wanna take your money and never let you actually get what you paid for. If you ask about what spot you are in line they realize you are catching on to their scam. Horrible place wouldn't spend your money here even if it was the only karaoke bar in Tennessee.

Dj refused to let me sing Rich men North of Richmond because it was too slow. Then played What hurts the most. Ridiculous considering we're paying to sing the songs.

Upsetting that the KJ wouldn’t let me sing Johnny cash in Nashville but wasn’t the worst environment. I guess I’m too tall for the video monitor and it cut off most of my head……. In response to comment I was there on the 23rd … upsetting as printers alley was a great environment. Wannabes was better the next night, when you decided that you could not serve the public ( which after being there seemed to show) … I’m sorry there are better locations in the area to treat travelers like that. I read a few more reviews after I saw your comment and I’m sad I didn’t take the warning … for those that have read this fare … not the worst place I’ve been in the world but worst in Nashville

I've sat and pondered on this review for a good while.I'm not one to just jump to conclusions.Back in late May of 2023, I was having myself a little staycation.I live in the Boro and wanted a little space away from home just living life.I had a hotel booked very near by.I spent most of my nights hanging out in Printers Alley.Usually starting with Skulls and making my way to Miss Kelli's after, often with Skulls staff, as I worked security for Skulls and other Icon properties for about 2 years (3 if you count the covid lockdown)Anyway, I had spent some time at Skulls, had a couple drinks (seriously just a couple, not the drunk man's couple)And myself and a group of tourists I had befriended made our way to Miss Kelli'sUpon my recommendation! We got in just fine, got our drinks, settled in for a good close to our night.I had a few sips of the beer one of the tourists ordered for me.Then headed for the door to have a smoke. As I always do, especially as I work in this industry, I tapped the doorman on the shoulder to alert him to my presence and let him know I was stepping out for a moment.Seemed common courtesy, as again, I do the same job and always appreciate when patrons do this, as it helps me keep up with who is in and out.Just a simple tap "hey I'm popping out to grab a smoke"His response? Immediate hostility."Don't touch me! You're in my space!"I shrugged him off.Clearly he lacks the mindset to do his job and will wash out soon.I had my smoke and headed back in, when I did he was still being rude.I told him I was sorry to invade his space, but I thought it was just appropriate to alert him to what was going on around him, to help him do his job.He continued to be rude and had escalated to vulgar.I requested he bring his manager up so we could talk. His response."Nope, and now you're not coming back in!"I said "seriously? You're going to be rude to me and then just kick me out because I asked to speak to your manager? Why are you afraid for me to speak to your manager?"He said "yep!"I motioned the KJ, and tried to get him to grab the manager, but he was busy and shrugged me off.The door guy said some unintelligible things to me, to which I responded, "why don't we step outside the door so we can understand eachother clearly?"He agreed and followed me.Then locked the door behind me.I'll give him credit, it was a clever move. But I genuinely couldn't hear his mumbles and wanted to have an intelligent conversation and sort out what seemed to be a very clear misunderstanding. But, he was having none of it.He's the boss, not the manager, not Miss Kelli, HIM.So after giving him the "really?!" Look and shrugging my shoulders.I waited. Not for him, people like him are not worth my time.I waited for the bars to close so I could reunite with my group.I leaned up against the wall of the dugout shared with Fleet Street. And waited. As customers came in, I made no comment to them and watched as they filed in, still waiting.Mr Big came out and said something to me, which I didnt hear, so I stepped a little closer and just told him that i was waiting on my friends, and if he didn't want to get his manager I had no interest in speaking to him.His response? He decided it was time to put hands on me and shove me around."You were trying to force entry!"No I was just standing there and stepped a little closer to hear what was being said to me.I did call metro for the assault, but metro as usual never showed up and I ultimately left with my friends to continue the night.I returned stone cold sober and told this all to management.Luckily the manager was the same as the night before and listened, and agreed that even she was confused about what happened.I spoke to the head of security who I've dealt with numerous times. And he told me that this other guy had numerous complaints. If that guy has been terminated with a report against his license.I'll happily change my review.
