We had so much fun spending almost three hours of our Sunday afternoon at Nelson’s Green Briar! After enjoying a delicious brunch featuring the “espresso, I guess so” made with whiskey (server Autumn was fabulous!), we had a great tour/tasting where we learned so much history of the distillery. Our tour guide, Silas, knew so much about whiskey and you could tell he has a genuine passion for it. The tasting was fabulous and we loved the products. After the tour we had to go to the bar to try one additional product our guide told us about—YUM! Then, it was off to the gift shop to select the bottles we’d bring home. All three in our party had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to return. Thanks so much!

Excellent lunch, excellent tour, fantastic bottling experience! Kevin, our bottler, was the most knowledgeable. Amanda, our hostess, was FABULOUS in coordinating our events. Jacob is super tour guide! Best whiskies in the US of A!

This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint.

When you enter the place, you're greeted by someone at a desk where you could sign up if you want to take their tour. I opted to skip the tour since they're almost closing and I'd rather take my time enjoying my drinks.

I went to the bar and behind it was a clear glass where you can see the huge vats where they make the magic potions. They have plenty of cocktails on the menu and of course individual whiskeys and flights. I got their house classic reserve and a cocktail (Always whiskey in the banana stand) and ohhhhh boy... they were heavenly. So smooth. Loved how easy it felt drinking it and the burn that followed soon after. The cocktail was nice and sweet; giving me a break in-between, but still have enough whisky to remind you that this should be the highlight of the experience.

We have visited the restaurant at the distillery on several occasions for the Sunday brunch. Absolutely fantastic.

The brunch menu has a great variety from a traditional breakfast, burger, some of the best pancakes ever, to a couple of over the top dishes.

If you are looking for something unique on a Sunday morning/early afternoon for a couple or even your group, this is definitely a great choice.

Usually 2-4 parties can get a seat, larger parties should consider reservations, it can get busy.

We had a wonderful brunch, distillery tasting and tour. We enjoyed talking with Spencer, one of the distillers, who was extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. We will be back.

The restaurant was fantastic! The Reuben was the best I ever had. I walked away with 3 bottles of their whiskey and I'm an aficionado. The staff (Autumn the waitress and Mike the manager) were terrific. I'll go back when I'm in Nashville, any time!!!

I recently had the pleasure of teaching a WSET class at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The hospitality provided by the staff was truly remarkable, making our educational event both enjoyable and memorable.

From the moment we arrived, Stefanie, Codie, and Mike W welcomed us with warm smiles and a level of professionalism that set the tone for the entire day. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our comfort and success were evident in every aspect of the event.

Stefanie's organizational skills were impeccable, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and on schedule. Codie's assistance added an extra layer of depth and Mike W's willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate our needs was greatly appreciated, and his friendly demeanor made everyone feel at ease. I highly recommend the Whiskey Sour!! I am a believer.

The venue itself was perfect for our class, providing a unique and inspiring setting that complemented the educational content. The facilities were top-notch, and the ambiance of the distillery added a special touch to the overall experience.

In conclusion, the hospitality at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery exceeded all expectations. Stefanie, Codie, and Mike W went above and beyond to ensure that our WSET class was a success. I highly recommend this venue for any event, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We were looking for a distillery tour while in Nashville and so glad we found Nelson's Green Brier! The tour was very informative and interesting, the whiskey and bourbon was amazing, and we went to the bar afterwards and had some great cocktails.

Won't come back. Only 4 people at the bar and the bartender completely ignored us! Then, when he finally came over, I was looking at the food menu only to be told not to get my hopes up by the bartender cause the kitchen closed the day we were there. No greeting when we walked in. 2 guys at front desk on their cell phones never looked up once. Woman in gift shop only one to acknowledge us. Bartender never explained flight, just set it in front of my husband, who, by the way, is an avid bourbon drinker. Very disappointed and couldn't wait to leave.

As a wedding planner I could not have been more appreciative for the help Nelson’s event staff provided. From catering to the event coordinators, everything was incredible. We love people who are all hands on deck and happy to help. This group thoroughly impressed me and I can’t wait to come back for more events!

I first came across this distillery a year and a half ago and enjoyed it so much that on a recent return trip to Nashville I made it a point to get back here. The tour dives heavily into the fascinating history of the original brand and its resurrection. My guide both times was entertaining, down to earth, and knowledgeable. The tasting did a great job of highlighting aspects of their standard and more limited varieties. This visit I also scheduled time for lunch and a post-tour drink and highly recommend both experiences. Excellent way to spend a few hours away from Broadway and hear a unique slice of TN history.
