Fast service, attentive and easy going. Would eat here again for sure. The sushi roll was a concoction of my own and it looked so good, I forgot to take a picture. But the gyoza was spot and quick to the table.

New management changed everything that was good about this place :(
Our orders took forever and still came out wrong.
UPDATE: I’m gluten free and picked only gluten free labeled items - I had a terrible allergic reaction.
I ordered this off of Uber eats.
1x Vegetable combo roll was $10
1x Chicken Fried Rice was $25
When I received it, the rice bowl was still steaming. Everything tasted fresh. The rice was so soft and moist.
Very delicious

Food was very disappointing.. we’ve heard great things about this place but this was our second time now and it was just not good either time. Apparently it’s been on a decline for a while now from the reviews I’ve been reading.
We were greeted with water which was great but there was a chunk of something green in my glass and I didn’t notice until it was in my mouth.. I told our waitress and she was very apologetic and actually brought us free mochi at the end of the dinner so that was very sweet.
For appetizers we got crab Rangoon and shrimp tempura. It was good. I got the spicy miso ramen with grilled chicken as my main. The chicken had a super weird texture and looked like Tyson frozen grilled chicken breast. The miso broth was very one noted and bland. I was pretty disappointed with mine. My boyfriend got the special rainbow roll which he really liked and the lobster roll which was okay.
As someone who has only ever worked in the food industry, I rarely care about the atmosphere as long as the food is good. But, atmosphere is sometimes a sign of how food is going to be. The booth seats were terribly ripped up and old looking and just makes the place feel very run down. I rarely write reviews but wanted to make it known that this place has had a wonderful reputation in the past. I hope they can get back to that soon.

I got the Tonkatsu Ramen, and it was good. The broth was robust and delicious, the noodles cooked to perfection....
But it only had 1 slice of pork belly in there and half an egg. HALF AN EGG! Not even a full egg. That is unacceptable for a $16 bowl of ramen. I was expecting a little more for such an expensive price for a bowl of.... ramen.

Haven't been here in atleast a year and the food quality has dramatically decreased while still charging the same price. The ramen WAS delicious, but the menu has changed and they only have 1 chicken bao option, which is not house made, breaded fried chicken tossed in their King pao sauce, or Nashville Hot chicken. Now it is a chicken Patty from a cardboard box that anyone can get in their freezer section.
I also got the chicken katsu fried rice. Another round frozen chicken Patty cut up and placed on top. Idk if owners changed or if the recession/inflation has affected the business this badly.
It was a HORRIBLE decision to remove the different bao options. I used to eat at Nomzilla Specifically for them, and now I won't be returning becuz of them.

Sushi was good and ingredients were fresh, however, the katsu chicken bao was literally a cold mcchicken patty cut in half on a hard bun with a singular piece of lettuce. I’ve never seen that dish made as such, and it was unfortunately awful.

Dense menu. Mostly sushi but also many ramen selections and lots of other items. Most creative is the Cheeto dust sushi burrito. Interior is very cool, worth a stop.

Holy crap so good. Got recommended this place from a friend/local and it’s perfect. The rolls are worth their price!

Brooke and Delaney were absolutely amazing! And FAR exceeded our expectations. We’d come back to Nashville JUST TO VISIT Nomzilla again!!!!! This was memorable, like nothing else. Thank you.

I’ve been coming here for 2+ years and while the ownership has recently changed, it’s still amazing. The new owners are long time friends of the previous owner, and they’ve worked together in the past. All of the recipes have been passed along with the sale and many favorites are still available. Initially the new menu didn’t catch my eye, but they listened to the feedback of their customers and added and denoted gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options on the menu. I ate here the first week under new ownership and had some hesitations, but it’s clear they were just getting things off the ground and 6 months later I can attest that it’s just as great as it was before. The new owner was so friendly and excited to hear our feedback and really cares about what customers have to say. That being said, my one request is to bring back Thet’s Noodles :) love this place!
