Ok we were big party of 12 people with reservation. We came in on time they didn’t have table ready but it didn’t take them long to set it up, so it didn’t bother me even though restaurant was pretty empty . Service was ok as well as atmosphere food was on time that part was good. But then food ruined all that good stuff. I had their significant dish, Bolognese . First of all for 23$ I’m expecting bigger portion than what they served me. It was like from a kids menu size. But that wasn’t the biggest problem. I wouldn’t even be complaining about the size if the flavors were there. Oh boy there was barely any meat and sauce so very dry almost no seasoning very bland. Absolutely no carrots, onions or celery and they call it a bolognese. Terrible, worst bolognese I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m a chef I know what I’m talking about. There was no chefs in the kitchen just line cooks so you can’t expect something great to come out of that kitchen . It’s a franchise, corporation, that explains small portions because they just want to rip you off. I will never go back there.

Not what I anticipated. Very loud setting. On top of everything, the bench detached from the backing of the booth. Very disappointing when the manager didn't offer any kind words or care. Will not be returning.
The short rib was delicious but the smashed meatball, ricotta cavatelli and kids cheese burger all left something to be desired. Food was slow to get to the table, the ricotta dish was cold when it arrived. We've had good experiences @ the North Italia in Cool Springs but I don't think we'll be going back to this one for a while.

I ordered brazino but the waitress said they were out. Then she said they had some brazino but another server came back to say they didn't. I ended up ordering salmon, which was just ok. I then ordered some wine but once again the waitress informed me they were out of my selection. It was not the waitress's fault and she was pleasant. To their credit, they gave us desert for free. The ambiance was marred by a large table of young women who shrilly laughed and screamed throughout the evening. Not the best experience at North Italia.

This is another attractive restaurant in the well heeled Green Hills Mall that provides plenty of excitement in a toney atmosphere. The quality of the food can be very good especially if you pair it with the right wine. Something’s on their menu they have a harder time pulling off. We did not care for their charcuterie board because the deli hams were to similar in texture and taste. We also didn’t enjoy their focaccia bread because the amount, too much of a good thing. Sometimes the food tasted a little too assembled and the flavor have not had a chance to meld. All said that won’t stop us from trying to find some new favorites. It’s a very popular restaurant and I can see why. We look forward to eating here more often.

You get what you pay for at North Italia. Some dishes are a hit and miss based on the crowd that day, however their pizza is pretty darn good! I have visited and dined in this chain at three other locations, and so far the service at Cool Springs, Franklin, takes the trophy. Maybe that changes...who knows!
Went here for the first time today while visiting Nashville. Emmy was outstanding. Great server, personable, and very attentive. Food was good as well.

Super slow this time. Took a long time to get our water, and then the food felt like it took forever. Our entrees came out cold, but they recooked them for us. When the second go at the meals came out they were good.
