Old Glory was pure VIBES! The moment hubby and I walked in we were greeted by the bartender from behind the bar, the gal checking ids and were told to sit wherever we’d like. Shortly after, our server named Alex warmly welcomed us and gave us some time with the menu. I happen to not consume alcohol, but their mocktail selection was solid for me. Hubby had his nice share of cocktails and even entrusted Alex with a few recommendations. She was incredibly knowledgeable and then some!
This was surprisingly our first time visiting Old Glory as we frequently travel to Nashville, and it was everything and more. The music, bar’s aesthetic and overall atmosphere, service, and drinks were tasty. Alex, you were such a gem. The next time we return to town, we will definitely be back. While sitting here I noticed how the manifest lady must walk up and down those entry stairs 200 times a night. That’s a lot of work, but she visibly declined to see those stairs as work. She looked like she savored each step, and never skipped one. Notice it or not, she’s over there choosing to laugh in the face of inconvenience. Now that’s bulletproof professionalism.

Had a pretty rude greeting upon entering. It felt like me walking in and wanting a drink was a nuisance to the girl at the front. Was pretty nasty to my party that came along with upon their entry, too. All of us were bothered by this and decided to leave before ordering a drink.

Old Glory was the perfect backdrop for a date I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. The cocktails are seriously next-level. Mine had mezcal, pineapple, and basil (don’t ask me the name, just trust me it was magic in a glass).
The vibe is moody and cool, but what really made it special was cozying up in one of the private booths...romantic, a little mysterious, and ideal for sitting close with someone you’re excited to get to know better.
