Oscar's Taco Shop - South Nashville

Stopped by for breakfast today. The lady behind the counter was so nice and extremely helpful. She was very attentive and patient which made my first visit very welcoming. The burritos were huge and they did not skimp on anything. The horchata was delicious and very well balanced. It was cold but not watered down like a lot of other places. They have a little cold bar with various toppings salsas, fresh made hot sauces, radishes, lime, jalapeños, cucumbers, and you get warmed chips too. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This taco shop is an absolute gem! The flavors are authentic, fresh, and unforgettable. Their Mexican corn is hands down the best—perfectly seasoned, creamy, and packed with flavor. The guacamole is incredibly fresh and bursting with that perfect balance of lime, cilantro, and avocado. And don’t even get me started on the churros—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Friendly staff, great vibes, and food that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommend! 🌮🌽🥑🍫

Hands down some of the WORST carne asada tacos I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was terrible and chewy and had zero flavor and the majority of it was fat and tendons. Definitely will not be eating here again.
