Great spot for some quick and delicious food Mexican food! I’ve been here a few times and it has been great every time. Definitely make sure you try the breakfast burrito. It was perfect to eat after a big morning hike with my dog. I also have tried the queso (10/10) and their California burrito, which is huge and super filling. Also love their chicken quesadillas when I’m in a tight time jam and just want something quick. The staff is great whether you’re dining in or getting take out. It’s typically filled with kids from Vandy, but still a decent spot to eat in without chaos!

Oscar's Taco is a great place to try Mexican food. It has a friendly service and the menu choices are good! You'll have various options of vegetal sauces to accompany your food, and has a nicely decorated environment.

This place is a hidden little gem! The al pastor tacos were delicious and freshly made. Maria and Margarita provided wonderful service. Will definitely come again when in Nashville!

We were hungry after touring the Parthenon so we stopped by Oscars for some lunch. We started with pico and chips. The pico was fresh and very tasty. I ordered the bean and cheese burrito. It was good. But I wish it had some fresh onion chopped up in it.
My husband ordered the hot chicken taco and the carne asada taco. He said the hot chicken taco was amazing and he’d definitely order it again and he wished he had ordered 2. The said the carne asada had a lot to it but it wasn’t really noteworthy. Not bad, just decent.
My some ordered the birria tacos. He said they were really good. Classic tastiness we’ve come to know and love from birria.
My other son had the fish taco and chicken taco. He said The fish taco was ok. I tried it and it seemed the fish was dry and then frying it had made it drier. It also had that “fishy” smell to it. I did not like it and if I had ordered it, I wouldn’t have eaten it but he did eat half of it. He said the chicken taco was yummy and he’d definitely order it again. Should’ve ordered x2 of them.
We also got the Mexican cokes which is always better than American cokes.
Cool place and they have a “salsa bar?” Idk the name but it had the verde, red sauce, pickled onion, and cucumbers on the bar. We’d def go back. Also very reasonably priced but I would say the prices on Google are not accurate. We paid around $4.50 per taco and I think online was still showing under $4ea and even their website showed lower prices than in the restaurant.

Everything is always delicious at Oscar's Taco Shop. Owners are from San Diego and their food is the real deal. Super fresh, my favorite is the Surf & Turf quesadilla or the crispy hard shell shredded beef taco. They make them the right way, fry the shredded beef in the shell then stuff them with fresh toppings! I can eat here several times a week! Love the new updated decor, looks great.

This place somehow slipped under my radar for too long. I have long carved a proper west coast style California burrito and had not been able to find one in Nashville up til now. This place was great and the Cali was pretty much just as good as you can get out west. The sauce bar is great and they serve coke products and of course horchata etc. probably the best Mexican I have had in my 6 years living in the area tbh.

I've had dinner twice at the Paducah, KY location and it has been great. The food is fresh and delicious, portions are generous, and prices are fair. The complimentary chips and salsa bar is also a nice touch. The restaurant is also clean, and staff are friendly. I'm looking forward to eating here again.
I love asada's burritos

nashville food can be expensive but oscar’s is always a good deal. love their breakfast burritos and the horchata is incredible (not chalky or powdery like most places in the south)
Everything I tried here is amazing and I've probably have tried about half the menu by now and they keep updating the store and atmosphere plus you can't beat their prices for the taste and amount of food you get my only complaint is I don't like these jumbo straws they had last time I went it's just too much straw
