Oscar's Taco Shop at Vandy

Amazing, fresh and authentic food! I have eaten so many items from their menu and I have never eaten anything I didn’t like, not one time. It’s truly becoming a family favorite for supper at least once a week!!

I was happy with the portion size for the price. The Paducah, Ky stores food was great, the kids loved theirs. It cost less than a regular Mexican restaurant but just as good plus you can get you some chips too free

Oscar’s Taco Shop at Vanderbilt is our go-to spot when my family needs a quick, satisfying meal to get us through the day. The food is consistently delicious, and the Al Pastor tacos are a personal favorite—flavorful, fresh, and always a hit!

This shop reminds me a lot of Victor’s Taco Shop in West Nashville, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re connected in some way. The quality and style of the food are very similar, which is a great thing.

Whether you’re on campus or just in the area, Oscar’s is definitely worth stopping by for a quick bite. Highly recommend!

Our first visit. Had carne asada tacos, and a pork taco. Cilantro and onions. Yummy. My daughter had chicken nachos which were definitely a hit. The guacamole was awesome and the cheese dip was killer!

Parking: Customer Service was above and beyond at this location and the food was delicious and presented well.

The food was very bad for Mexican food the restaurant was dirty and nobody came to wipe any tables while we were there and it was not busy the reason we went there it was close to the hotel and we could walk

This place takes the phone off the hook at lunch time everyday you can’t call or order, if you have Uber eats and want to remove something simple as guacamole and sour it’s not a option you have to get it and when you call to try to let them know their phone is off the hook cause who doesn’t have call waiting in 2024? Very unprofessional

I absolutely love this place! Unassuming yet bursting with flavors. I got the birria and pastor tacos. Flavors were spot on. The tortillas deserve a special shoutout. It reminded me of the tacos I had in CDMX. It’s my favorite taco place in Nashville.

Our large group enjoyed eating great food out front on a busy Saturday. Service was prompt with friendly folks. Fish tacos were awesome with the slaw. Rice & Beans were spot on. All at a great price. Highly recommend.
