love ottos - so grateful to be in walking distance from here. their drinks are amazing - the prairie flower is probably the best cocktail ive ever had.but the last few times ive been here ive been a bit put off by the staff. ive had some AMAZING experiences with MOST of staff. but there's one bartender who has been there the last few times that has scoffed at my drink order (i ordered a drink on their menu, btw), rolled his eyes when placing a simple order, tended to his friends orders twice before letting me place my order, and overcharged my tab — across multiple visits.he's giving a "too cool" attitude and im not sure what i did to cause that? i always tip well and have a good quick chat with the other bartenders. i wanted to chalk it up to personality but he certainly doesn't have that attitude when his friends are hanging out and getting quick service.truly, i love ottos and want to keep coming back here. but having that type of service that makes you feel self-conscious is a deal breaker to me!

If I could give this place a negative I would. I went for drinks with a friend and was laughed at by the bartenders when I asked for a certain drink. After they told me “we’re unable to make it” they make fun of my order and continued to complain about tourists without knowing I am actually fromNashville and frequent this bar often. Not sure of their names but they are absolutely terrible bartenders.

Unassuming cocktail spot with character. Yes this place has one bartender working most times but that’s part of the charm and it is a small space. It feels intimate. We tried three cocktails and they were all great.

This bar is truly one of a kind! I was captivated by the street view neon sign “Otto” and thought the front of the building had a cool mid-century vibe to it. Architecture aside, I took a chance one night and loved what I saw. A very cozy, welcoming place where you can sit in front of the projector and enjoy whatever movie they’ve selected that night. I ordered a Manhattan and their tacos, and both were excellent. Love that this place exists!

The bartenders have provided awful service the last few times I have visited. The drinks have been poorly made as well. My biggest frustration is that the bartenders treat the bar like a hangout spot and cater to their friends who come in while overlooking the true patrons. Multiple times I was standing at the bar and asked for a drink and the bar tender skipped over me to cater to their friends. Hopefully the owner sees the other similar reviews of poor service and makes corrective action before the staff causes this place to shutter.
Otto's x Secret Bodega teamed up to bring us magic yesterday! The menu was so inspired with such a fun twist on the things we know and love. The buttery pastry and sweet caramelized onions from the French Onion soup Gallate were a dream. The Kasama Sando had such a fluffy pillowy egg and a wonderful sauce that was bursting with flavor. We could sing the praises of each item but we must talk about our favorite drink, The Juanita Valdez. This drink was so beautiful and so different from my imagination that we thought we had received the wrong thing. Strong, smokey, sweet are how we would describe this beautiful drink. This may have been the last Secret Bodega event of 2023 but 2024 is just around the corner. All the food and drinks were wonderful! The service was great, everyone was super friendly

This is absolutely a gem of Nashville! Not only are the drinks great, but they play VHS movies on a projector! The staff were so helpful and really kind. They have a really unique patio setting, I won't spoil it for you. Definitely a new favorite place to grab tacos and drinks.
