I went to this Peruvian restaurant today and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered lomo saltado, papas a la huancaína, fish ceviche, and pollo a la brasa.
Before arriving, I specifically asked if the lomo saltado was made with real beef tenderloin, and they confirmed it was. However, what I received was a completely tough, hard cut of meat that was clearly not lomo. When you pay a certain price, you expect to receive what is being advertised.
The papas a la huancaína came with very little sauce, and the sauce itself was nothing like authentic huancaína—completely off in flavor.
The pollo a la brasa was shockingly small; it honestly looked more like a pigeon than a chicken.
As for the fish ceviche, it was extremely sour, far from how Peruvian ceviche is supposed to taste.
Overall, the food is very far from authentic Peruvian cuisine. The waitress was very kind and attentive, but unfortunately, good service does not make up for such poor food quality.
I do not recommend this place at all.
This place was amazing!!!! The staff were all super sweet and helpful. The food was phenomenal. The ceviche was really yummy and their fresh mango juice was the best juice I've ever had! 😍😍
Would definitely love to come again!!! Highly recommend.

This was our first time trying Peruvian food and it was absolutely delicious. The food was incredible, full of flavor, and the service was amazing. Our waitress explained every dish to us before we ordered, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place to try!

Great flavors. But the bill was too high and didn't match the quality of our food. Good luck.

Friendly service and large portions. I thought the beef from the lomo saltado were a bit large and was a little on the dry side, but the extra sauce and large portion made up for it

So good loved everything
Authentic Peruvian food. I love what I ordered which is Aji sauce with chicken and rice. And a glass of chicha morada. Taste just like Peru but at 5 times the cost. Creamy pepper sauce with chicken and rice, just comfort food. They do put a lot of fillers like potatoes in the sauce so I don't how much chicken is actually in it.
I don't have a problem with service, I think only one person speak English there but service is pretty attentive

Edited to share recent experience of 10/19…
I am the dummy for trying them over and over and continuing to give them another shot. Today we went to eat there and my card was charged 3 times… they claim they don’t know what happened, surprising! They told me to contact the bank so I can get my money back so they clearly can pocket the money and not have to worry about it. These people are just horrible every time. I’m going to just have to open up my own spot smh.
We truly enjoy the food but the service has been bad every time and seems like we aren’t the only ones experiencing this. Every time we have eaten here we have had one of the female waiters and they always come with an attitude. Today we ordered and picked up instead and the lady at the register still had an attitude when my husband went in and asked for sauce. Maybe as the owner you need to replace these waiters with ones that would like to be there and not ones that huff and puff every time you ask for a simple thing. This issue is sadly going to bring down your restaurant. I strongly believe there aren’t even Peruvians working here besides maybe the cook. Most Peruvians would be a lot nicer to people than this because our food is one of those things we are most proud of. Seeing how this is one of a few Peruvian restaurants in Nashville you could really have potential to be better just not with your current employees.

This is one of Nashville's best hidden gems. Lovely staff, insane food. The roast chicken is so, so good. Peruvian corn, sweet plantains, chicha morada. I'm in heaven. Go here now.

My son wanted to try Peruvian food, and it was very good. I had grilled chicken and fried rice. The chicken was moist and well seasoned, and the rice was delicious. My son had Arroz con Mariscos (rice with seafood) and really enjoyed it. Wed definitely get Peruvian food again.

Imagine going to a restaurant and being asked to pay to get in. I just wanted to eat there, but they asked me for $15 to get in at the parking lot. Are you kidding me?
Terrible service for food delivery through the app, we paid $190 for an order from the Uber Eats app and they sent us the food from the kids menu burnt with a bad smell and bitter taste, the meat was tough and they didn't send us the sauces that come with the sirloin menu, I called to ask what to do and only received a response that they saw the chicken and it wasn't burnt instead of receiving any solution they just tried to argue with me that the order was fine and that the meat wasn't their problem, disappointed because we always go there to eat and we always leave good tips, terrible manager, terrible answers and terrible service. Waste of money and time
