Panera and Vanderbilt need to do better. This place is awful. Staff, service, and options. They literally r out of everything, every day. What a shame in a hospital.

This place always has the sloppiest made sandwiches with awful ingredient quality. Makes me sad for the Panera I had as a child. I can’t believe they cut funding for fresh bread to make more money.
The only reason why I go sometimes is for convenience while I am at work.

Nice quick friendly service (6:30am). Park in the garage and go up the ramp near the north medical building and it's to the left.

Food is not that bad but also really not that great. Way to expensive just to say I ordered from Panera Bread. Exclusivity........ It's all in the name and thats what you're paying for.

I know you see the one star and you think oh my gosh these people are bitter. How bad can it be? I’m here to tell you. It’s literally that bad people have to be at the hospital. People have to come because this is where their loved ones are so they come to Panera a well trusted name around the community just to find out that I guess this store doesn’t actually stock their shelves. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon they don’t have milk for lattes, they don’t offer anything else. Matter fact, they don’t even look up long enough to even make sure you’re standing there. Do better Panera. This is a hospital. People have to be here and they chose to go to your store

Ordered 15 minutes ahead of time before lunch. I waited for 45 minutes and my order had still not even begun being made. How can you expect people to go here for lunch when it takes an hour just to receive your food? It is like this constantly as well. Very inconsistent.

Do not come here if you need your food any time soon—took them 20 minutes just to toast a bagel, even though I ordered ahead online and there were practically no other customers there.

This location is a chaotic hot mess during business hours, particularly in the morning. Overrun by medical center students, staff, nurses, doctors, patients, and just random people. However, the staff is really nice (even though you can see the fear and overwhelm in their eyes). Renee is always the calm during the storm and polite and friendly. PROMOTE HER AND KEEP HER AROUND! Sip Club is OK but oftentimes the drinks run out. Also, no cold/lukewarm/room temperature decaf coffee if you wanna make your own decaf iced coffee or something. Just hot. Not great. IDK if that’s even the employees’ fault, or if it’s corporate… Overall, horrible location made better by some really friendly dedicated employees who are desperately trying to maintain a good atmosphere against all odds.

Worst ever. Except maybe the CLT airport. SLOWWWW as molasses! People gathered and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting! Teas are low, out of supplies, out of menu items! Slow and incapable! Horrible! Especially for a HOSPITAL!!!

Seriously snail's pace! WORST EVER!!! MY GOD! HIRE GOOD WORKERS! Fire these slow employees that time theft! They DO NOT care about customer service! Weed out the weak ones!!! Horrible service! Ineffective!

Ordered inside. My order never left the 4th page of orders. Never was given a cup for my drink. After and hour and 20 minutes I canceled and no apology. The place was a wreck. Definitely find somewhere else to go.

As far as I experienced, this is the worst Panera shop in Nashville. Some of the staff are nice, but many are terrible, very rude. The service is extremely slow. Sometimes, it takes 40 min to serve a sandwich. It would be faster if you walk three blocks down to another Panera store on 21st Ave. The store manager seems to be trying to improve their service. Unfortunately, not working well.

Wish I could give 0 stars. THE WORST Panera I have ever been to. Restaurant is dirty, service is slow, disorganized, and the staff doesn't care at all. The food quality is terrible -- honestly just don't eat here. It is sad that an already difficult and sad day at the hospital was made more exhausting and frustrating by coming here.

they have a security guard in the parking lot who acts like he’s apart of the cia. he makes sure that all cars that park are actual customer of Panera but enjoy that friendly customer service of getting stared down and interrogated by a guy who really just wants to be a cop 😂 1/10 the city of nashville shut this atrocious place immediately
