They had a guy cosplaying as Paul Blart barking at people immediately upon leaving their parked cars threatening to call someone on the spot to tow your car if he doesn’t see you walk into Panera. He also had two (his pets, I assume?) dogs tied up to a tree for some strange reason. Mind you this is in the direct sunlight with no water bowl visible. Maybe it’s to add to the “security guard” tough guy aesthetic? Either way, I’m not sure what the intention was - intimidating and harassing people minding their own business seems to be a counterintuitive business practice. Panera’s already not cheap and the food’s mediocre. You aren’t doing yourself any favors, and if this location wasn’t next to a college campus of liberally spending students, I’d reckon they’d have to close due to a lack of business.
Odd experience to say the least. Guess it’s safe to say based off other reviews this is a common experience. It’s quite bizarre and never seen before in my experiences that a fast food restaurant with a parking lot adjacent to other businesses employs a power hungry man with a Napoleon complex who yells threats at you the second you walk away from your car. Even if you are intending to eat at Panera, this behavior’s not appropriate for a paying patron. Felt like a dystopian episode of the Twilight Zone.

Parking security guy harassed me thinking I wasn’t going to eat at Panera and threatened to tow me. I left because I thought he would wrongfully tow my car. Don’t go to this Panera those security guards will harass you thinking you won’t eat at Panera.

The food was so good! A little pricey. The lady that took our order was patient and kind.. three of us ordered everything we wanted!
I paid 8 dollars for a smoothie via Uber eats and Panera can't bother to put some kind of security tape on the cup?

I eat at Panera Bread regularly at many locations. I have never had an issue as far as the staff.
However my experience at this location is quiet different. At least one of the employees went out of her way to be extremely rude and unprofessional.

Made a mobile order for dine-in. It has its own parking lots, and clearly marked drive-through. Arrived after ten minutes, and our dishes were ready. The Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt was well prepared and tasted good. The Strawberry Chicken Caprese Salad came with a lot of ingredients and quite healthy. The Agave Lemonade was as usual. The Cherry Pastry was a good finish.
