This place is filthy. When you arrive to pick up a pizza often times the workers are out front smoking cigarets. Then they come inside and not wash their hands.
After this place was closed for months for a face lift I would have expected a management overhaul too. It’s worse than before. This place should be permanently shut down.

I ordered a Works pizza late last night and time stamp on box said 11:18 PM. It was Saturday and they closed at 1 AM.

I picked up pizza a little before midnight on my way from work to my mother's in Clarksville so I didn't have to cook when I got there because most stores/restaurants would be closed by then.

When I got to my mother's and looked at it, it was loaded with ham. More ham than I've ever seen on a pizza (and I'm not a fan of ham on pizza), the cheese was very sparse, and I realized after a few bites there was no pepperoni (which is my favorite topping, but that's kind of irrelevant).

It was well after closing time by the time I opened the box so I couldn't take the pizza back or call. So I just ate some of it because I was so tired and hungry. I threw the rest away. (I guess I should've taken photos to document the toppings but had no idea I'd be challenged about the toppings later on.)

I got busy at work today so forgot to call the store on Old Hickory Blvd until about 6 PM. They put me on phone with female named Brandy/Brandi who I assume was in charge of store at the time. I told her about the pizza and asked if I could get some credit since I ordered it so late & couldn't call store or take it back by the time I was able to eat it.

At first she said there was no record of me ordering Works, then found it, then said they come with ham on them. That that's one of the toppings, as if I didn't know that. I had said it had a ton of ham, not that ham wasn't a topping, but I let that go. Then I reiterated that there was no pepperoni. I decided not to mention the cheese because her tone was that she didn't believe me & I didn't want to sound whiny.

She told me that I should've called last night before they closed and I said it was closed by time I got home/to my mother's. She then told me she would give me credit "this time" but I should've called when they first opened this morning. Which I couldn't do because I was at work. IDK what difference the time I called made, but anyway she made it clear that I had to call the store to get the credit, couldn't order online and use it, and her overall tone was of a chastising, disbelieving parent, condescending me and making me feel like a child.

I rarely complain about food unless there's something really wrong. I have never called this store to complain and I've ordered many pizzas there. If she looked at some kind of records she could probably see that I never complained before. I felt like I was being accused of lying and made to feel guilty for calling.

I get that the person I spoke to probably has to field calls like mine a lot, but I'd like to tell managers that not everyone is lying or trying to get free pizzas when they call to complain. Please don't treat us all like liars who are trying to get something for free.

Now I am reluctant to order from this place again. Not so much because of the poor quality of the pizza, but the way I was treated by management. (I will say that the man who handed me pizza at drive-up window was very friendly and actually had my pizza in hand when I pulled up, which was nice.) I've never had a pizza made so sloppily at that location before and I am wondering if it was because it was right before closing and they were tired & checked out mentally or something.

I just put an order in, had it ready for me at the time the email said. It had a different price in the email than what I was asked to pay. The amazing staff quickly took care of it. It is outstanding customer service like I experience why I chose Papa John's over Marco ? pizza.

The quality of their ingredients is amazingly good in every bite! The crust is perfectly baked and the sauce is flavorful. Their signature garlic dipping sauce is a must-try, adding an extra layer of deliciousness to the already fantastic pizza or cheese bread side dish. The menu offers a great variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. We also ordered the cookie cake thing for dessert and it tasted amazing too! The service is reliable, and my orders always arrive hot and on time. The lady on the phone from what I heard was so nice cause she was from Texas like me, haha. But she was very nice and the service was top tier. For consistently delicious pizza, sauces and desserts, Papa John's is a top choice for some pizza! Highly recommended!

I wanted to acknowledge the great service from this past Saturday evening. But this papa johns location is very well ran. Makayla was the first one to make me feel good about my decision to get pizza. She greeted me with a smile and also, gave me great food as well. 10/10 for me.
