The Pork Belly here is so delicious! The DJ playing on Saturday was amazing! All the staff were super nice, we went back for a late dinner and drinks again on Sunday before we had to fly home. My vegetarian friend said the lentil empanada was so good she bought some to take home.

My husband and I loved Pearl Diver for the food, drinks, and atmosphere. I even got the Pupu platter for my birthday last May. Sad to say, we went there over the weekend and the whole menu has changed. They got rid of my husband’s favorite drink and the new food items are mediocre. We got the Pupu platter again and did not enjoy the new items. Go back to the old menu!!!

Not one to leave reviews but Pearl diver is a GEM. Vibes are off the charts, cocktails are are sensational - and Virginia!?!?! She’s the best server/bartender I’ve ever had. Seriously so contagious and I think she’s a rockstar. Keep it

After seeing mentions and photos of the Pearl Diver on social media, my boyfriend and I were DYING to try it out. About a week or two ago, he made reservations for us to eat dinner on my birthday. We arrived a few minutes before our set time because I was genuinely that excited. When greeted by the host, the energy level quickly shifted. She went to check our (VERY REAL) ID's and seemed in disbelief. I understand that people may try to get in with fakes, but it's incredibly insulting when they take a very thorough look, rub/ bend the card, and take every attempt to make sure its real. You might as well say that you don't think I am of age. After realizing it was my birthday, she gave me a backhanded, "Happy Birthday". She showed us to the dining room where she asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We made a reservation for an indoor table on my BIRTHDAY. I don't think anyone would want to be shoved to the bar for a special event. I kindly stated that we prefer a table. There was no push back, but with an introduction like that, we felt VERY unwelcomed. I believe our server was training another server when helping our table. They were kind, but we felt bombarded and expected to know exactly what we want. We ordered two drinks for about $30. After sitting in the dining room for about 20 minutes, we decided that the environment did not fit how I wanted to spend my birthday. We paid the tab and left a 25% tip. We then went to Taco Mamacita in Germantown. The service there was a night and day difference. I genuinely do not know what the issue was with Pearl Diver, but the staff DID NOT want us there. It was incredibly disappointing to view this place so highly until the second I walked in the door. If I stayed to dine, I felt as if my birthday would be ruined. I really do not recommend this restaurant especially to younger adults that just want to try new places!

You have to check it out, the food was amazing and so was the service. I loved that in the back they have out door seating and what I would call a smoking pit. I'm definitely going back! Check out my IG for more @

The vibes here are so very cool. But the food was not great. We came Herr cause he had heard about the burgers which apparently had been taken off the menu the week before. No biggie me and my 5 friends all got a few of their options. Everything was sub par. The dumplings were good. The summer rolls were soggy every portion of what we ordered was a mini version of the dish. The avo tostada was avo slices on thei blue corn chips. (Not on an actual corn tortilla but a chip) they were so greasy and couldn't be picked up. The tortillas that came with the steak were equally as greasy. The worst part tho is on the menu the summer rolls are listed as vegan. Which my friend who is vegan, ordered. They were served with a fish sauce! Not a vegan one either. We asked the server who said he had no idea if it was vegan or not. He went and asked someone else only to find out they weren't. My other friends chimichurri steam never came out. The server obviously forgot to put it in. And when we asked about it he told us it had to be recooked but no one had let us know. The actual spot was super nice and we had high hopes but the food def let us all down.
