What stood out to me about Peg Leg Porker BBQ wasn't the food (which was plenty good) but the number of large groups that were gathered around the long tables to enjoy time together. It's a sign of a good restaurant if it's a place where friends want to gather.
I dined in and had a catered meal in the course of two days. The pulled pork was fantastically flavorful and moist. The ribs were a bit dry but the dry rub was fantastic. Maybe it was just my half rack because the other four people at our table loved the ribs. As for sides, definitely try the banana pudding and BBQ beans. The coleslaw and mac & cheese were also solid but not standouts.

Peg Leg Porker was delicious.The dry rub ribs are easily some of the best we’ve have ever had perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with smoky flavor without being drowned in sauce. You can really taste the care and skill that goes into the barbecue here. The ribs have that perfect balance of bark on the outside and juicy meat inside that falls right off the bone.
The atmosphere is laid-back. If you’re a true BBQ lover, Peg Leg Porker is a must-visit especially for those dry rub ribs.

Let me start off by saying this was the best food we had in nashville tennessee, we couldn't decide on what to try , but luckily , they had a combo platter! It offered chicken , pulled pork , smoked sausage and ribs ! All tasted amazing and smoked to perfection!

We absolutely loved Peg Leg Porker! The ribs were hands down the best we’ve ever had - perfectly smoked, tender, and the rub was amazing. The pulled pork was also fantastic.
For sides, the mac and cheese and potato salad were both delicious and full of that classic Southern comfort flavor. The green beans were just okay, but honestly, everything else more than made up for it.
The atmosphere is casual and fun, exactly what you want from a Nashville BBQ spot. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

This barbecue place totally deserves 5 stars! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality and making sure customers leave happy. And honestly, they have the best smoked wings I’ve ever had in my life! Definitely one of the best BBQ spots I’ve tried — I’ll be coming back for sure!
