Best BBQ in Nashville! Maybe the best BBQ I’ve ever eaten. 6 stars!

Had a full rack of ribs with dry rub with green beans and slaw. Dry rub was solid, but the ribs were a bit under salted for me. Good bark. Sides didn't standout in anyway.

We were disappointed😟. Based on past reviews and the line to order food, we expected a delicious meal. The baked beans and bbq sauce were the stars(very tasty), but the green beans were season-less in a pool of soupy oil and water, the mac n cheese was overcooked; soft noodles in a watery cheese sauce. The pulled pork was tender, but nothing to rave about. Maybe we would have had luck with the ribs and slaw. We'll never know.

I went to Peg Leg Porker on a work trip because someone recommended it, but honestly, I won’t be coming back. The BBQ was just okay, nothing extraordinary. It was pretty traditional, but the meats weren’t as flavorful or tender as I expected. It’s fine if you’re in the area and need something quick, but I’d pass on returning next time I am in Nashville.

this place is packed & I have no idea why. I've never had food be so bland & so over-seasoned at the same time.

Came into town for a work convention and decided to try this place out. The older gentleman that cleans the tables is very nice, but other than him the rest of the staff weren’t very pleasant. The younger guy at the register acted like he couldn’t understand anything we were trying to say, not sure if he was new, but then was perfectly fine with all the workers he was friends with. We got charged for an extra meal, somehow, that we didn’t ask for. Asked for fries on the side with the ribs and we got macaroni instead. Expected the pulled pork platter to be bigger, it’s a small portion of dry pork with no sauce. The barbecue sauce was super sour, green beans were definitely canned with liquid smoke added in, and the slaw was just cabbage and hardly any sauce with flavor. The only thing that was good was the banana pudding and the bbq baked beans. Drinks are separate, so don’t expect to get a drink with any of the meals or platters, you have to ask then he offers. They also only had a pork sandwich, pork nachos, chicken, ribs, and pulled pork; don’t take any of the photos as a reference cause that’s the mistake we did. Safe to say we won’t be back there again, but the experience was ok I guess.

Slaw and beans were good. Ribs were excellent, but hardly any meat.

I really went here with high hopes hearing it was a top spot in Nashville. I hate doing negative reviews but unfortunately this is one. Me and my wife had ribs and pulled pork. The ribs while they were tender were very thin with not a lot of meat on the bone for the price. As for the flavor it was very bland the dry rub didn't have a lot of flavor and there was almost no smoke flavor that should be in good BBQ. Now for the pulled pork. When I get pulled pork I expect some bark mixed in and there was none. Second there once again was no smoke flavor for a piece of meat that takes minimum 8 hours to smoke. The pork while somewhat tender was also somewhat dry. The bbq sauce was the best part and is what made the pulled pork overall edible from a dried out perspective. Not sure if they just had a bad cook or if that's what they serve on a regular basis but unfortunately it wasn't worth the money. I have had thicker ribs for less at some of the best bbq joints around. I honestly think it's time to re evaluate what we are willing to pay our hard earned money for, and not just a name brand

Coming from California I think we expected Texas BBQ and all of the locals recommended this spot. But I would emphasis their dry rub as a dry rub and the quality of the meat is fall off the bone but I think we were expecting it a little juicer. We came here on a Saturday during lunch right before everyone started coming in. We got the full rack of ribs with 2 sides. We got baked beans and mac and cheese. The baked beans were good and the mac and cheese was all right, they were shelled noodles. I really enjoyed the bbq sauce there too. The ribs were easy to eat, some burnt ends and they fell off the bone. They got it down to a system there so service is really quick and efficient and a fast flow of people and seats and tables turning over. Self served drinks and we tried their fried peach pie. We shared for 3 people and devoured the meal. Def worth a try if you’re in the Gulch area of Nashville and want some bbq. There’s both seating inside and outside with lots of TVs and a full bar! It can get quite busy for parking in this area as well.

No way near the best bbq in Tennessee, it's not that great. I would not recommend making a special trip here.

I ordered a full rack. I was disappointed in the sams club sides, no scratch items like greens. The ribs were good, nothing exceptional, slightly over cooked. Super risky for gluten free here. Lots of better bbq in town.

Nice place to visit if this food suits your taste buds. I love ❤️ pork barbecue, and this did not suit my taste. Barbecue hot 🔥 sauce and BBQ beans 🫘 were bland. The best thing I tasted was the 🍑 peaches in the cobbler. I liked the atmosphere, just not the food.

Parking: Plenty of parking on a gravel lot, if that doesn't bother you.
