Attempted to eat at 3:15, website said open. Rude employee said closed 3-5pm. Was excited to try the place but staff was not friendly and they close mid day without adding that to the website.

Located near the Gulch you'll find some slamming ribs. The ribs are a tasty dry rub and the meat was tender. They also provide BBQ sauce for additional flavor. The Mac and cheese and the Cole slaw are some of the best I've ever had.

Food is great, the price is also great. Whatever you get will be worth it. I got pork sandwich with two sides and ordered an extra one. Mac is decent but the beans and slaw is where it was at. The pork sandwich with or without lots of mild is great either way. The ribs are really good dry rub and while the mild sauce is amazing, you should really just enjoy the dry rub ribs as is. If I'm back in Nashville, I am stopping here every time I come through town, that's how great this place is.

I came to peg leg for the first time last month while I was visiting the hospital the food was amazing I came back on 4/24 and the food was awful the ribs was burnt and stuck to the bone unlike the first time when it fell off the bone the banana pudding is off the chain ❤️ I’ll give it another chance but I hope it’s want be the same experience cause I had bragged about peg leg and my friends was very disappointed

If you travel and have gotten to try different states bbq this is just alright. Got a half slab of ribs, lacked the smoke flavor and was heavily seasoned with dry rub that seemed to be placed on right before handing it off. It was still moist and tender tho.The Mac n cheese was pretty good and the green beans just ok. It's not bad but not very impressed with this bbq joint the reviews giving it 4.6 thought it would be something more special. It's a solid 3.5 out of 5.

The pork sandwich was packed with flavor and the portions were huge. The pork nachos are also good. Can't beat the price for what you get here. I wished I would have placed another order to go for later on that day.

My friend and I dropped by Peg Leg Porker yesterday. The place is a straightforward, no-frills BBQ joint that really delivers on flavor. We kicked things off with a batch of chicken wings coated in a superb dry rub--just the right combination of spices. We also shared a full rack of ribs, which were absolutely phenomenal: tender, smoky, and well-seasoned. I don't usually go for dry rub but this was oerfectio For sides, we went with the mac 'n cheese and BBQ beans, both of which were delicious and complemented the mains perfectly. The ambiance is casual and friendly, ideal for a relaxed meal. Service was swift and attentive, which I always appreciate. If you're after solid, tasty barbecue in Nashville, Peg Leg Porker should definitely be on your list.

Stopped in here for lunch on a visit to Nashville. The service was fast and friendly. Food was great. The sausage is a bit spicy in case that bothers you but it was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors is a little dark but it doesn't impact your food . Would definitely stop back in.
