This place is absolutely disgusting. First off they don’t accept card. Second off the place is absolutely dirty!!! THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. Very disappointed. The green beans were overly seasoned to the point were it was so salty. The cabbage had no seasoning, and was very hard. The chicken was soggy. And don’t get me started on the hot water cornbread. IT WAS OVERLY SWEET AND OILY. So sweet to the point we it just tasted like plain sugar. DO NOT GO TO THAT PLACE. ITS RINKY DINKY. DIDGUSTING

I had fried fish white beans and cabbage it was delicious 😋 hot water cornbread was super delicious. The service was excellent and it was a very welcoming atmosphere. My husband had the meatloaf and Mac and cheese and loved every bite 🙌🤩🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food is so good. If you want some good soul food this is the place. I had a beef roast plate yesterday and came back for more. Today I got the chicken and dressing plate with turnip greens and baby let me tell you. My plate did not make it home. He is so wrong for making the food this good. It is cash only but there is a store with an atm right next door.
Some solid classic soul food. Pork chops are fried and delicious, mashed potatoes are the perfect texture with a little chunk just how I like it. The cabbage is some of the best I've had, and the man running the place is great to talk to. Cash only
