Such a good vibe and a relaxing place to be! Stumbled upon this gem!
Everyone was super nice and quick to help with all the questions our group had about the different coffees they can do. Chill vibes. Recommend if in Nashville
made the drive into the city and unfortunately didn’t get the chance to even give this place a try. arrived right before 10pm and the barista told us she shuts down her equipment at 9:30. we came here well before closing and thought that would be plenty of time to try anything from the menu. i wish information like that was made known to us before we made the trip for a light night coffee
Coffee was mid. Service was poor:( we had to keep reminding the employees to give us our food after waiting 30+ minutes for the simplest pastries. Very disappointed especially when trying to find decent coffee in Nashville - don’t waste your time here.
Came here for avocado toast, and they were out of avocados. Ordered something else and it took awhile to get it. The place was empty. They forgot my friends food orders and we waited 30 minutes for the food to be ready. The drinks are mid. They forgot my friends mimosa too. Just a ton of reminding them to get us our orders.
One of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time, definitely the best I’ve had in the U.S so far. I tried the cold brew and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended!
We were here for an army reunion. Sunday night we were all in the café just sharing old stories. Ashley was in charge. And she comes over with a plate of moonshine shots and tells us thank you for our service. She wouldn't accept payment or a tip. It's not very often that veterans get this type of compassion and TRUE appreciation. Her act of kindness touched each and every one of us. I'll never stay anywhere else. Thank you Ashley, this world need more people like you. Thank you and God bless
Dawn Cafe is a great place to sit and relax. If it is raining, definitely visit this place, it’ll be a good refuge from the pour and their coffee options will keep you warm!
Vanilla latte was so good, it didn’t click to me that I should click a picture to share the review. But had to take it, so I’m sharing one with half cup full!
The coffee, latte, and egg sandwich were delicious! The staff were very nice and the place was great to start our morning of planning our day!

I’m so glad I found this place. It was stuck in right next to my hotel and as soon as I walked in, I felt such a nice vibe and the staff was super welcoming and inviting and took the time explain their speciality coffee.
The decorations transformed me into another world. Everything was placed and tidied up right next to each other, telling a story about Nashville, the history of Nashville and the music of Nashville lots of cassettes lots of music books and lots of mini games.
I tried Camp Ivanhoe and Let It Linger. What an incredible mix in these 2! I was hesitant to try at the beginning but why not. Both were incredibly delicious I almost ran back to grab some more. I also tried their chocolate croissant, so good.
Thank you for a great time. Highly recommended.

Amazing coffee and love how they have games out for anyone to play! It was such a good experience for a coffee shop

Not only is this one of my top three coffee shops in Nashville, it's also the most aesthetically pleasing one I've been in. Every detail makes me feel like I'm looking at a place being featured in a magazine.
A little note, Dawn is connected to the Bode Hotel. I only happened upon it because I work in the area and took a small walk. What a terrific find and hopefully this message reaches others so they can also find this wonderful place!
Dawn Cafe is my home away from home coffee shop (does that make sense?) I can't go that much because I don't work in the area as much but when I can, I do.
Things to try: Their entire fall menu is delicious. Personal favorite right now is their pumpkin chai latte. You also can't go wrong with their blueberry muffins, just make sure you ask to have them warmed up 😉.
P.S. Let's keep Nashville great by supporting our beautiful shops and restaurants. Good or bad, leave a review so they can know how good they're doing, or what needs to be fixed. That's all!
Parking: They may have free parking but it might only be for people who are staying in the hotel.

Bitter coffee with a token, useless drop of oat milk. No pastries to speak of. Geriatric bananas. Wildly overpriced. Women at the counter are lovely, but that’s not enough to make up for the highway robbery for underwhelming fare.
