The best way to describe this restaurant is "No you cannot." I believe they forgot that the customer pays the bill, not the chef. We were very excited about trying this restaurant but were very disappointed. The prices are over the top for what you get. And be aware of the $10 bottle of water which they do not tell you about until you get the bill. One person in our party wanted to order the Carbonara and just asked if he could get a side order of shrimp and guess what the 3 word answer was... If you want good Italian at a reasonable price, go the Valentino's or Giovanni's. This place will not last if they continue to treat customer they way they do and charge the prices they are charging.

I am a native italian who lived 30 years in the USA. I finally found the restaurant in US where food is just like in Italy. Authentic italian food without having to purchase an airplane ticket. Big portions and great taste. Angelo is a fantastic host who pays attention to details and the quality of the ingredients in his kitcken. Excellent wine pairing.

The food was delicious and came out quickly. Go with friends so that you can try several things. I highly recommend the carbonara. The only negative is that the kitchen closed early for a Sat night...830 and it is a bit pricey.

Second visit at DeLuca TRUFFLE EXPERIENCE . As my first visit the experience was amazing! Great food, great drink, and great service! My girfriend and I shared filet mignon tartare : I'm crazy for trufflle but not her so Angelo Exceptionally shaved a trufflle on my side only (thanks Angelo!), and than I orded risotto with porcini mushrooms and trufflle : no words for describe how much amazing it was, my girfriend orded gnocchi with pistacho and burrata : amazing! So my Last plate was a filet mignon with teuffle... Super good and super high quality of the meat. My girfriend orded tiramisù she sayd it was one of best she every eat, my I finished with a cocktail:tiramisù espresso martini... Guys believe me or not is something crazy!! Once again thanks Angelo to you and to your staf! You guys are the Best! See you soon! The Italian's couple

This was such a disappointing and pathetic experience - beginning with the preachy call before we arrived to advise us what not to wear. We arrived to a restaurant with 6 other guests- now we know why. When we ordered iced tea, we were warned that they charge for refills. (In a fine dining restaurant ?) And, the sea bass is $99 ? . We ordered the super pricey plate of arugula with nothing but tomatoes and then the tasteless pasta and fled. It was Olive Garden minus flavor, so expensive and the atmosphere is very tacky, the lighting is bright and seating is terrie. This is the worst dining experience we remember and the most expensive. Stay away.

The food at DeLuca is excellent and there is a friendly and efficient staff. The pricing is high even for the excellent quality of the food. We will go back for sure but I hope they will review their pricing structure to enable customers to return more often. They do have a dress code, which we appreciate and you get a phone call reminding they do enforce the dress code, which is reasonable for the type restaurant.

Last night we had another wonderful experience at DeLuca . We shared the Polipo which is grilled octopus and it tasted so light and delicious. Then I had a Salata de Frutta which is very refreshing and had delicious shrimp on it. For dessert I had the Tiramisu, it comes in a little glass mason jar. Excellent service and craft cocktails. Thanks for a great experience we will be back

I want to say the food was fantastic, outstanding in fact. The wine list was amazing. The restaurant itself is very well put together very quaint, they used every bit of space wisely. The bread was phenomenal. We ordered the Polipo, Cacio & Pepe, and the Gnocchi Crema Di Pistachio Salta the star of the dinner for myself was the Gnocchi. The whole meal felt like we were back in Italy. (we speak from experience as Italy is one of our favorite destinations) The only thing is every thing on the menu is priced quite high, which yes the food was amazing but we did feel it was awfully high, we are used to spending a good amount for the food but still seemed high . The owner visited our table and even brought us our wine, he was extremely welcoming.

The worst experience ever!!!! Overpriced. Cold fish, flat Prosecco, doughy pizza and subpar bolognese! I wrote a review and their reply to me was even rude! It was my mother's 75th and the worst experience!!!

Real, authentic Roman experience. I grew up in Rome and I know that food very well. Angelo and Rosario have been able to bring a gem to Music City, delivery the best dishes cooked with the freshest ingredients. A big plus to the pizza, made the way Romans do, thin and deliciously crispy! Bravi!

We were celebrating our anniversary, and as soon as we walked in, the waitress brought us two complimentary glasses of Champagne. The whole sea bass prepared table side was delicious. The supporting vegetable medley was a great complement. The Carbonara was delicious and we finished the meal with tiramisu. Service & ambience was excellent. Highly recommend Deluca

Just a terrific experience in every way. The ONLY restaurant in Nashville that understands how truffles should be served. Calamari is ethereal. Octopus is wonderful. Burrata and prosciutto excellent. What a great addition to Nashville's dining scene.

Third time in 2 weeks. This place is addictive! We had the Spigola (seabass) and it was the best fish I ever had outside southern Europe. Wine selection is fantastic as well. We'll be back soon.

I was craving the savory Prosciutto San Daniele and Bufala with the homemade focaccia and I decided to sit at the bar and have a pleasant dinner. Angelo was at the door and recognized me right away and so did Brandon. I sat, ordered and relaxed in the very welcoming lounge. Two glasses of Sangiovese later I was a very happy guest. What a gem this place is! Do not hesitate to book your reservation on Open Table and indulge yourself in authentic flavors. The friendliness of management/ownership is outstanding. Nashville lacks this kind of attention since Covid ended. I'll see you guys soon for another lounge experience. Thanks!
