We come to Nashville once a month and always search out new places to eat. This time we decided on bagels and chose Proper Bagels. We were not disappointed at all. The bagels sandwiches are very good. The staff are friendly, place is clean. Definitely a must if you are in the area.

We got four different bagel sandwiches to share. Flavor was good, some bagels were overcooked, hard, kind of tasted like day olds, others were better. Took quite a long time to get our food, and they weren’t overly busy, asked for it to eat in, got it packaged to go. Charge a lot for drip coffee and they don’t even give you a refill.

I waited 20 minutes for just one bagel while everyone around me got their orders—even people who came after me. On top of that, when I asked for a cup of water, I was charged 25 cents. That’s really disappointing and not good customer service at all.
