I’ve been here a few times before. But today, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Heather. Very nice lady! And her employee Lauren was, also, very nice. I had the chicken salad for lunch. So good! And I couldn’t pass on the Dr. Brown’s Black Cherry soda.

I walked in at 9am, no line and lots of staff working. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The cashier told me it would take 10-15 minutes. Despite the store being g well staffed and uncrowded. There was no line behind me. Cashier could easily have grabbed a bagel, sliced and smeared it in 45 seconds. 15 minutes for something that doesn’t require cooking or heating? Ridiculous.

They are currently NOT offering GF bagels even though their website says they are. Overall poor communication between false advertising & we were told 25 minute wait when we ordered and we ended leaving at the 1 hour mark with no food! Overall just super sad!

Me and my family came here when we were on vacation and OMG . We dream about this place because it’s so good; there is no words in this planet to explain how delicious and yummy this place is . They have a verity of flavors that I didn’t even know could exist! Everything taste fresh like the bread cream cheese and etc…Super yummy and we will definitely be coming back to Nashville but not for Nashville it’s self but for this place only.It’s super clean and I will say the costumer service is spot on .thank you .

An amazing morning in Nashville at Proper Bagel. As the name implies, this is was a proper bagel. So many cream cheese and sandwich options. As someone who’s had their fair share of New Jersey and New York bagels I was impressed. The pork role was especially exciting to see. Can’t wait to return.

The Nova Scotia salmon is hands down the best bagel sandwich I have ever had. I have been all over New York City and Chicago and proper bagel has been the best. The only problem is the long wait which is up to an hour and the hectic holdback to wait for a table to open up. It is very loud and hard to talk but the bagels are very worth it. You can’t go wrong with any sandwich or bagel because we tried a lot and everything was good. They even gave us a free bagel when they made a mistake, and they’re was someone cleaning every table. I highly recommend proper bagel as it is one of the best bagel spots in the Midwest region.

Got a to go order and it took 1.5 hours after I placed the order. You have to come inside to get your order, and the small, overly crowded space is really unpleasant. After my order was supposed to be ready, I had to stand there for another 45 minutes. The man helping me was nice, but it was ridiculous to wait that long for 2 bagels.
