I paid $62 for my food to be cold and old. The pork chops were terrible dried,out cooked too long. The potatoes were yellow and watery. Green Beans were cold with no taste. The yams taste like they came straight out the can smh macaroni and cheese were old and too cheesy! I wouldnāt recommend this place to a soul! The only thing that was decent was the pink kool-aidš¤¦š½āāļø I am very upset because I couldāve cooked and been well beyond satisfied for $62! The food looked nothing like what the advertisedš

I don't think I'll be coming back. I had grilled salmon with two sides-cabbage and Mac n cheese š§. The grilled salmon needs some sauce, some flavor...it's just grilled (boring) The cabbage is too spicy for my taste, but the Mac n cheese and bread was delicious! Not the friendliest service and I was a little confused about how things go. I'm assuming everything is cooked to order, so plan to spend at least 30-40 minutes waiting to receive your food. I see the potential though. At $20-40 a plate, I ATE IT ALL, even with my mouth burning from the cabbage! š My daughter ordered the wing plate. That should be $10 at the most. The wings were small and she only had 3 of them. Wings, not wingettes. They were a little on the dry side and lacking flavor.

Laquita is absolutely amazing. Her greens cannot be matched. By FAR the best soul food in town. Make sure you say hi to Laquita. She is the one making those greens so damn good!!!

My wife ordered the stuffed turkey legs and two sides thru door dash. Her Turkey leg had nothing on it just bland turkey meat and the sides were missing. We called to inform them and they said that's how the Turkey leg came which clearly wasn't like that on the picture and that they would replace the sides next time. Really would've rather had a refund because it's probably not going to be a next time. Shady business practices for these prices are giving a dishonorable inefficient business vibe. Smh got robbed without a gun. Whoever said the chicken is better than Princes must have been paid in gold.

The greens!! The greens !!! Best Iāve ever had and Iāve eaten at many soul food spots- the wing batter was a little on the saltier side and koolaid was a little too sweet but you can tell they made it themselvesā¦. Itās some kind of concoctions- the spaghetti was saucy and meaty and full of flavorā¦.. this is the kind of place you come to when you want home cooked with home cooking - prices are a little high because it is downtown and theyāre in a food hall but other than that, highly recommend- great staff, very cleanā¦. Whoever manages the place should do consulting for other businesses because thatās how itās done/ they work well as a unit-

I ordered a catfish plate from you all and my fish was made in old grease I can literally taste the damn grease and itās not fried hard at all itās very much wet Iām so frustrated cause I just spent my last dollars smfh Iām so ERKEDDDDDDD and Iām not even from here man gawddddd damn

This was the biggest regret when it comes to dining out! I ordered a loaded turkey leg with cabbage and mashed potatoes. The only thing that was good on that dish was the mashed potatoes smh. The turkey leg was bland, and the cabbage had no taste whatsoever! And to make matters worse, their cooking methods were lazy and non-traditional. My sister ordered wings, and that tasted like it was cooked in fish grease. My mother ordered their fish plate, and that tasted like straight oysters šš½ And the fruit tea they had tasted like actual fruit cups in syrup that you buy at the store. So nothing about how they made the food and drinks were authentic and it was a waste of money! Don't know if the staff had an off day that time, but I wouldn't recommend anyone going. They should be put on cultural suspension for misrepresenting the integrity of soul food like that.. Gots to do more better than what I experienced, please, and thank you

Some of the food had good taste, the customer service could be better, me and my fiancĆ© went 3 different times, each time the cashier wasnāt friendly at all. Prices arenāt clarified on the menu. Also we inquired about catering for our wedding, never heard back from the manager. Seems very unorganized.
