The kitchen was out of everything and Mac cheese was soup and also broccoli cheese. No season in the food. . No management on duty to handle complaints. Please revamp your menu or make sure the correct items available. To be out of the half the menu is not acceptable. To spend over $100 on food for unacceptable is ridiculous !!

First time visiting and it was cool for me. I ordered the stuffed salmon and it wasn't as described but still tasty. Wasn't aware of gratuity added to the check. Sometimes it stops the blessing.

First of all, the food was good despite the cold cornbread I give them that, but the service as far as the waiter sucked horribly. The waiter didn't check on us or anything. First of all, they don't serve sweet tea. Most black owned restaurants at least serve sweet tea. He brought the food out and then gave us two plastic forks wrapped in a napkin. Didn't have a problem with the plastic forks. Didn't even ask if we needed more napkins or nothing. It was loud in the establishment due to the loud music and the people talking loud and weren't that many people in there. Both restrooms were out of order so you had to go to the restroom where the employees only go in at and they serve drinks in a can with a glass of ice. If the health department had of came in there they probably would have been shut down due to non-working restrooms. Like I said, other than all of that the food was good, but don't think I will be going back anytime soon

I want to go on the record to say I have put down some wings in my day. But those are the best bone is wings I have ever had. If you gave me 100 tries, I still wouldn't be able to do what they did in kitchen with those wings. They were incredibly juicy in the inside yet crispy and flaky on the outside. I also had the loaded mash and it was delicious!
I wish I could give a negative star on this restaurant. The food is not good and the service is absolutely terrible. Our server had on fuzzy boots and a nasty attitude. I spent $100 on two plates/drinks. The pot roast was very mushy. I wasn't sure it was actual meat.

This place is closed down and its still being advertised. There were other ppl other than me looking for the place . They paid for parking also and then to find out the place no longer exist. I drove about 35 min to get there. Please take this place off of Google or mark it closed

Their new address is 1200 Buchanan St!! This was my first time at QC Kitchen and everything was amazing. The new location is bigger and cozier! The service was excellent, and our server explained the menu, made great recommendations, and told us about their late-night events. The food was incredible. The mac and cheese was the best I have ever had at a soul food spot. Even when it got busy around 1 PM, the service stayed great. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

I didn’t like the music playing, so that was throwing the atmosphere off, for me. But the food was delicious. I ordered the Cajun pasta macaroni and yams. The Mac n cheese was really good, Cajun pasta was okay, not as creamy as I’d like but seasoned well. And the yams were the best I’ve ever had. They gave me a very salty cornbread instead of Texas toast which didn’t really go with it. The lady said it would take more time to cook that but I had worst been waiting more than 20 minutes! They took a very long time with my food. Like a long time. So I probably won’t be back just cause of that. But it was good though.
We just left. Noone was even in the kitchen. The gentleman (waiting before us) said that they've been waiting there for 15min. How does a business run with ZERO STAFF???

For those of you that are not aware that the owner passed away unexpectedly, so please if you could show some empathy and compassion towards your experience when writing your review. I think the remaining staff is doing the best they can without the owner. They’re all grieving. I haven’t eaten here but I had to give stars in order to leave a review. May QC Rest Easy!!!
