They tried to accommodate for my dairy allergy but then my meal came with cheese. They didn't take it off the bill until I said something. Took an hour to get our food. Our waitress tried her best given the circumstances she was dealt. My kids enjoyed their food.

It was a fun and different experience. The food was pretty good. A little pricey for the quality. Service was ok, we waited forty-five minutes tu get our food .

Great time! The service was excellent! We all tried new dishes this time...they were all great! Highly recommend for the family.

Very great way to celebrate a birthday, felt like I was a kid again, portions for drinks and food were very generous. Couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my day.

My kids had fun and enjoyed their meal. Obviously that's what this place is about. But our server took forever. Our food got there before the drinks, my husband ordered a second beer and we ended up getting the check before that beer came out, then it took forever for a manager to take that beer off the table... blah blah blah. Let's just say that it was a two hour meal for one course.

Fun atmosphere, great for kids, but food was hit or miss Our family of six visited the Rainforest Café at Opry Mills. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect — colorful, loud, and entertaining for kids. The staff was friendly, attentive, and the balloon animal artist going table to table was a fun bonus for the little ones. Food quality was mixed. The kids meals were decent: one had steak bites, another a chicken quesadilla. One of our sides was supposed to be mixed fresh fruit, but only pineapple was available, so we ended up ordering a different side. My daughter enjoyed her chicken dish, and both my wife and son liked their pot roast. My main disappointment was with my own meal — the Chicken Cobb Salad. I was expecting fresh, hot chicken (especially since the menu mentioned fried), but instead it came with cold, refrigerated chicken that tasted like it had been sitting for quite a while. For the price, it felt underwhelming and took away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Overall: great experience for kids and friendly service, but the food quality could be better, especially for the price. We'd return for the atmosphere, but I'd choose something different than the salad next time.

Great experience for my kiddos! Food is ok. My kids enjoyed the Dino nuggets and Mac and cheese. I had one of the pastas. The sauce was very runny. Overall great place. Fast service and great ambiance!

Hostess was very rushed when seating is. Table for 2 was horrible sitting in the middle of the aisle way. When asked if we could move to another table she replied nothing available if you don't like it you can leave

We had a large group celebrating in Nashville during a large convention, so I went in search of a unique place that would take our party of 15 on a Friday night. In the past, I've scheduled similar dinners while in Orlando, so I chose Rainforest over other venues in the area. Our server was absolutely fantastic, and the food was fine. A few aspects of this particular location threw off what should have been a fantastic night. I realize these two of these do not involve anything that Rainforest is responsible for, but they might help someone who is selecting this particular restaurant at this location. 1. The shuttle in this area drops off at a location that is on the opposite side of the mall from the restaurant. We knew there would be a walk through the mall, so that was not a problem. However, the mall actually has a rule that students under 18 have to be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21, and there can only be 4 "children" under 18 with each one. We had two 18 year-olds, two 21-year-olds, and twelve students under 18. Security would not let us walk through the mall. Instead, we had to walk around the perimeter of the mall after dark and through areas without much light. On top of that, I'm pretty sure one of the three security officers told us to turn right when we should have turned left to get to Rainforest. We arrived at the restaurant a bit frazzled. 2. Prices were pretty high, and the restaurant made me pay a $100 deposit AND would not give us separate checks. I knew this ahead of time so I had to be ultra-organized to ask each student to give me their orders so I could calculate the 7% tax, 4% group fee, and 18% gratuity. Then, students paid me ahead of time so I could pay the lump bill. In 36 years of attending this convention with teens in various cities and enjoying a Friday night celebration dinner after competition, I've never experienced the one bill requirement. 3. Shuttle return. Evidently, the shuttle stops running at 8:15 p.m. even though lots of restaurants both in the mall and surrounding the mall are open much later. No signage at the mall shuttle pick up area, on the shuttles, or at the hotel loading area indicated that so we waited forever before calling the hotel concierge before calling cabs to get us back to the hotel at $25 per cab for a 3-minute ride. As far as the actual Rainforest Cafe experience, it was fine. The problem is that "fine" at those prices isn't necessarily what customers want these days. People expect really good food when paying to eat out; Rainforest was fine. Even teenagers are developing more refined tastes and make comments about their food. Most of the lackluster remarks involved the pasta dishes, claiming they didn't have much taste to them, and the steak and shrimp dinner offered a pretty tough steak. My shrimp combination platter was good although I was surprised it did not come with any sides at all. The scenery, the thunderstorms, the animals were as good as ever, but the overall expense and inability to provide separate checks put a damper on the meal itself. Combined with the other unfortunate events simply getting there and returning to the hotel, I'm not sure we will book at Rainforest for our celebration dinner the next time the convention is held in Nashville.

We always enjoy finding a Rainforest Cafe to dine at when we travel. It’s nostalgic, as we would go to a local one with our daughter when she was young. My husband and I came here for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated promptly, and Camille took our drink and food orders within a few minutes. Service was friendly and efficient. My husband had the China Island chicken salad and I had the turkey club with fries. His salad was very good, as was my sandwich. The fries weren’t crisp enough, and they were barely warm.

It's a fun place to take your children that's why we were here to celebrate our son's 8th birthday. Very expensive for mediocre food that's not truly tropical themed just named items. Our server Kelley was fun and made it special for our son.

Placed order for appetizer and mentioned allergies. A manager was supposed to come talk to me, after 45 minutes the wrong appetizer came. Then 15 minutes later the correct came but no manager or talk of allergies. Then we needed plates, plates came once we were done. Asked for the bill, that came fast. Good was good but could have gotten it somewhere else with better service. Go once for the experience, don’t expect great service .

The rainforest atmosphere is neat to see. The service is typically slow, even this visit when they did not have a full dining room. The food is ok but not memorable, in my experiences. The visit is mainly to see the animatronic rainforest.
