Well, I thought I'd had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich at restaurants in the west because the menu said that's what they were. They lied, I had never had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich before going to Reds and downing the dirty bird, mild. It was unbelievable. The mild spice level hits a about average jalapeno, just a nice back burn and easy to enjoy. The tenders are crispy, and they stay crispy, I suspect a double fry, and the flavor and texture was like nothing I had eaten before. Add the pimento cheese the spiced fries and the come back sauce, It was amazing. My wife did the tenders with pimento mac and cheese and mustard potato salad, it was every bit as good. The staff was great, there are some tables you can eat on outside or you can eat in the park across the street, there was plenty of free parking. We were there on a Friday around 2:00 and walked right up to the order window and waited about 15 mins. This joint is a highly recommend, we had a great experience.

Fantastic Nashville hot chicken. Cooked perfectly, nice and crispy. Medium has plenty of heat. 100% recommend.
Overall appearance may be unsettling, but the quality of food was amazing. I researched for days trying to find a true Nashville hot chicken sandwich and came up with reds. It was so worth it, perfect amount of heat with the medium sauce. The pimento mac and cheese was amazing, and seasoned fries were not shabby themselves. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a local hot spot

Prince's, Hattie B's, Boltons, Pepperfire, BJ, Slowburn, Helens, had them all. Red's is by far the best hot chicken I've had. Cooked to moist, delicate perfection. The heat is so good, and there's a little sweet to go with the bite. Perfect coating. The fries are so good that I'd entertain just going there for some fries. BEST!
