Well. Julie & I Love To See Rippy's Bar & Grill In Nashville. & Live Music Too.
LarderRoom...Are you ready for dinner after a DAY or day drinking. Don't sleep on Rippy's Famous Ribs and Barbeque (Honky Tonk)! The food is amazing. We of course got ribs, but honestly I'm a sucker for a smoked sausage. Get the Rippy's Smoked Pick 'EM (3) and add the ribs. Yes, there is live music. Get some eats, drinks and enjoy some live music before moving on down Broadway. They have two sides; one is a little quieter for eating but that is up to you! Don't forget to tip the bands! Buy a song. Enjoy!
Parking: Parking near Broadway can be tricky. Save yourself the headache and uber.

Had the ribs with macaroni and cheese and the turnip greens. My wife ordered the southern chicken wrap. The ribs were amazing. I ordered them dry, and that was definitely the way to go. The turnip greens were also very tasty. My wife reports that the chicken wrap was pretty good, but that the honey mustard could have had more bite to it. Word of warning: The beers were $9 each and the cocktails were $14 each. The drink prices were not printed on the menu, which is kinda questionable. The band upstairs was great! We sat there and listened to them for over 3 hours. Had a great time!

Locals beware i got refused service because my real Tennessee license didn't have a gold star. Probably would've went different if I was a tourist. Ridiculous and unprofessional. Upstairs bar 9/14/2024 1:22 am.
Thank you for the warm PACKERS welcome shout out from the band on Thursday night.

I’m a local came in for a drink and to cool off from tootsies birthday bash. Ordered 2 double shots of fireball and a beer and the bartender had the audacity to pour me something out of the well. As this is what I drink everyday I know the color and taste extremely well when I said something got an attitude and said what you want to watch me pour it when she poured the new shot for me keep in mind never poured my husband his shot it was right that time them completely ignored us the rest of the time we were there. NO WONDER LOCALS DONT WANT TO COME AND VISIT BROADYWAY. Your establishment will never see a dollar of mine again that’s including tootsies Kid Rock the diner should I continue! ?

Nastiest bar on Broadway. The food was AWFUL. The waitress, Morgan, was so unbelievably rude. We were there at 6:30 pm, it wasn't that busy and she acted like we were inconveniencing her by being there. The place was dirty. The table was extremely sticky and the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. Not a fun time at all.

The upstairs restaurant did not have much character and the floors were sticky but with the music and atmosphere was still enjoyable. Probably not the best place amongst the local venues, and not the worst either. Service was friendly, if not that attentive. Food was reasonable, mainly just burgers or similar, although there is only plastic cutlery.

Added 20 % gratuity to the bill on a lunch and one drink order. I don't care what the industry standard supposedly is. Regular losers like me don't know about it and it pisses us off.... Also the potato salad is that gross yellow grocery store stuff.... Music was great though....

Unfriendly bartenders; mid atmosphere
Ended up here for drinks and of all the bars we went to. Which was quite a few, this one was by far the best! The bartender was great and she delt with my drunkeness amazingly (which only happens about once a year, so I'm sure it wasn't great)

Rippys is one of my favorite spots on Broadway. Because it is the first bar after the arena, a lot of people come thru on their way to the rest of the entertainment district and the people watching is abundant. They have a constant rotation of bands that work for tips and therefore, they really interact with the crowd. Intimate stage with top notch bar and wait staff. I've only been upstairs a few times, but I've never heard any complaints from up there either.
