This place is a secret gem and y'all better hit it up before it becomes too popular for you to snag an order! I got the catfish sammich (add onion, pickles and mustard); it was flawlessly cooked and seasoned. Side of coleslaw was well-dressed and refreshing in between bites.

There's only enough seating for about 8-10 people, and it doesn't look like it's even open from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The food is amazing!!! I had the pork chops and my husband had the catfish. Best we've had in awhile. We also recommend the mac 'n cheese. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

The catfish was exceptionally delicious! Perfectly seasoned, lightly breaded but nice and crispy I could eat a tray of that and be happy. However, the only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the reason I went there was because of the photo and video I seen of the macaroni and cheese. My friends and I have had several discussions over the last few weeks about how no barbecue or Soulfood place seems to have any delicious mac & cheese that hits for us on all scales, texture, taste, creaminess, etc.There’s by the looks of the photos was to hit on all scales across the board but unfortunately it didn’t. It looked nothing like the picture,tasted bland and noodles extremely overcooked was very disappointing but I hope it’s just a one off and the next time it’ll be like the video and pictures they have posted.The bbq beans were just a tad sweet for me but very flavorful I ended up mixing hot sauce in them and they were much better.Overall this place is definitely a hidden gem ? sucks it took me so long to try them but I’ll definitely be back

Awesome. Picked a close bbq place so i could make sure i got back to work on time, and I was definitely impressed. I’ll be back as I want to try the chicken and waffles; i had a pork sandwich and beans, both of which were just great great great. Dante (not sure if its his place but i think so?) came out from the kitchen to check on me and even brought me a sample of just made mac and cheese. BEST MAC AND CHEESE ive had in a long time, maybe even ever. Its definitely up there. Check it out!

Rolling down Dickerson and happened to look to the left and spotted this restaurant. Glad I did! Food was ? ? ?.. Prices are reasonable for what I bought. Catfish fried crispy with cole slaw and macncheese. You can tell sides were homemade and the fish was seasoned perfectly. Customer service was ? and very welcoming (Tanya). Place was clean, clean!!! In my Arnold Schwarzenagger, Terminator voice.. I'LL BE BACK!!

I’ma trucker and i was parked right in front across the street. I had a wait so i decided to give them a try. And I’m glad i did!!! I had the chicken and dressing Mac and cheese and cabbage. Everything on my plate was very good, food felt like home. I highly recommend this establishment.
