Let me start by saying: today was New Year’s day. I knew there was a chance it could be really busy, but a friend was in town and had heard me talk about how much we loved this place so she really wanted to go. We put our names in online (approx 30 min early) like usual and once we got there the line was out the door. We stood in line for 20 min just to get to the front and be told they had us checked in and it could be another 20-30 min, but we’d receive a text when our table was ready. We totally understood this, however we waited far beyond that and watched people just walk in and take tables as if it was seat yourself. I know the staff was so busy, but nothing was said to these guests and it pushed everyone else back further who had waited. I feel like the system was very flawed. We waited from 11am to 1 pm. We finally left, but it’s now 2:42 pm, the restaurant is closed and we still NEVER got a text saying our table is ready. Thank God we finally gave up and left but we were so bummed to miss out on their amazing food. The worst part of all: we paid to park and lost out on that money 😢

recently had the pleasure of dining at Ruby Slipper, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
The service was equally impressive. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was welcoming and added to the wonderful ambiance of the place.

Ruby Sunshine is a gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm, friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. Awesome place for brunch! As busy as it was you can tell they had everything under control. Everyone’s plates around us looked amazing and our biscuits and gravy and tomato eggs Benedict were perfect. Great atmosphere and location. Definitely worth it!
