Jimmy Sullivan’s Swinging Scene was a delight and great fun. Both his music and stories were wonderful. While the menu was limited, everything we ordered was delicious. Two negatives- the first was the temperature of the food, especially my Red Beans and Rice as it was inconsistent- just barely warm on one side of the bowl and almost perfect on the other. The second negative was our server, Nick. While initially prompt and friendly when we interacted, he often disappeared for periods of time. He was slow clearing food plates and I had to ask him to bring the check at the end of the evening. The other server was hustling around the room and kept checking in with guests. Nevertheless, we will return the next time in Nashville!

Great experience! Great place. We visited from California and wanted to make sure that we did all the things at the locals had suggested. The music was phenomenal. The ambiance was great. You had to pay a cover charge to get in which was $14 for Thursday evening. Although I think it changes depending on what band is playing and on specific days. They offered food until 10:30 p.m. And I did not feel like the drinks were overly priced. I definitely plan on coming back to Nashville and this place is somewhere I will definitely be back to. Don't miss it if you're visiting. It's quite the experience.

We were looking for unique experiences that did not include the typical country music. We decided to check out this place as my partner loves jazz. It was a fun experience. We happened to be there on their Latin jazz night, so the vibe was electric. I would certainly recommend coming here. And I hope to see more diverse spots for live music in the “music city”.

Always a great vibe in a cool, intimate setting. Great musicians at the Gypsy Jazz Thursday session. Where else are you going to enjoy all that and a crawfish cheese sandwich?
Rudys Jazz Room is the place to be. The food was good, the staff was friendly , Adam was incredible to talk to . I learned so much about how Rudy's went from vision to the hottest spot in Nashville. I recommend reserving the lounge chairs. Dress for the venue, make it an experience .
