Food was amazing. I definitely feel like the whipped feta could have had a little more honey & pita chips but that’s just me being a critic. I also got the very nice salad & it was huge and so scrumptious. I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. Reason for only 3 stars was that I was very disappointed that bc I got water I was served in a plastic cup. Also, asked for a to go container and was given styrofoam. Sabell’s please do better. Also, was with out water the whole time I ate my salad. Overall this place is definitely a hidden gem as far as good unique eats. If they switch to paper to go boxes I will change to 5 stars.

During our stay in Nashville we wanted a good place to eat that was not part of Broadway. Our condo was in East Nashville and we thought we would try something local to that area...and boy are we glad we did!!! This is cute little gem and everything was excellent, food, service, parking and hospitality. If I lived in the area it would be place that I would frequent often!!!
Parking: Plenty, we had no problem

The whipped feta? Unreal. The burger with tzatziki and tabouli on it? Unmatched. Their happy hour prices? A dream come true. Friendliest staff and coolest vibe

The falafel pita was great! Very fresh and seasoned perfectly. Our watermelon drinks (without the alcohol this time) were delish! Love this place.

Tried the neighborhood spot for the first time. I don't use the word cute much, but "cute" lil place. They got a bit busy when I got in. The cocktails would rival most Nashville "speakeasy" type places, very good. The naan special was outstanding (see photo). Dined at the bar and the bartender was laid back and very nice. House burger was decent, fries A+. Certainly would recommend, get the cocktails for sure.

We arrived right before 6pm, and the bartender was kind enough to alert us happy hour was almost over. We immediately ordered the happy hour cocktail. It was a sazerac. Normally, I don’t like absinthe, but they made it in such a way that I could barely taste that licorice mimicking horror. Seriously, the cocktail was delicious.
Milanese Chicken Sandwich - immediately surprised at how sizeable the portion was. This tall boy required the knife the bartender so generously provided. After treating this mountain like the magician’s assistant, I took a big bite. The crunch of the outer shell of the evenly pounded flat, schnitzel style meat was consistent through the entire meal. The sauce was creamy, delicious and they put the perfect amount to complement the other flavors.
Did I mention the sandwich came with fries? The fries are a little thinner than restaurant cut, but not as thin as shoestring. They were lightly battered—not as heavily battered as most places. There was also a distinct seasoning on them I could not quite distinguish. Pro tip: if you get any kind of hummus, dip the fries in it. Especially the garlic feta.
The Mezze was also delicious and plentiful. I might get this wrong, but it came with three dips—- garlic whipped feta, chili oil hummus, and this honey walnut tabouli green hummus. While they were all delicious, the gold star goes to the garlic whipped feta. The highlight of this dish was not the dips, the olives, or even the arugula. While everything tasted great, what stood out to me was the appropriate amount of pita given to scoop up all these goodies. Most places don’t give you enough chips for your salsa, bread for your charcuterie or pita for your hummus. Sabell’s gives you the right amount.
We added felafel to the mezze platter. I don’t know if it’s traditionally made, but it’s some of the best felafel I have had. There was a distinct, familiar flavor to the green interior of these crunchy balls. Another thing I couldn’t distinguish, but still enjoyed very much.
I will be back to try some other things. The desserts look good.
Parking: Maybe 12-15 spots.
