The chef, decor, and service were amazing. We enjoyed several small plates, yummy cocktails, and outstanding wine on a recent visit with our son. The oyster mushrooms were amazing; so much so that we ordered another serving! Everything we chose was filled with interesting, amazing flavors and were impeccably cooked and presented. We'd definitely eat at Saint Stephen's again.

Went on a Friday night- restaurant was mostly empty the entire time we were there. Our waiter confessed that he had limited knowledge of the menu and only could say things were tasty. He delivered meals incorrectly and announced that he was unable to tell what item was correct based on what we ordered for the smaller plates so we had to figure out what meal was ours. Quite an expensive restaurant for limited service and the smallest amounts of food. While we live in the neighborhood, will likely not return

What an awesome experience. The food was amazing, A-MAZING and the staff were welcoming and fun. Where to start. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door by Lacey. She seated us right away and took care of us the rest of our visit. We tried several courses and Chef Corey and team explained each one and answered all of our questions (even the silly ones). They obviously take great pride in their work. It's really fun to be able to see them do their work and the layout allows people who enjoy that sort of thing to do so. It's a physically welcoming environment. Food wise, they have a wide variety and a little something for almost everyone. The menu changes regularly but this visit our favorites were the Farm and Fiddle Yellow Squash, the Bucatini (my personal fave and I could eat this every day and be happy), the Pork Collar and the Guinea Hen- yes, we ate ALL of that. The portion sizes are made to taste, sample and share. And while that would have been MORE than enough, we also tried three of the desserts and while I almost always favor something chocolate-y (and this menu delivered a chocolate dessert that had multiple textures and types!) I loved the Compressed Mango with a dehydrated spice cookie! And the Peach Sorbet had an insane goat cheese ice cream that was incredible and our party gave it a full thumbs up. This is a great place, easy to get to and well worth the time. GO. Seriously.

If you're going to charge Michelin star restaurant prices, and attempt Michelin star food, you need to make sure you deliver. In addition, you need to make sure the ambience and service matches the price point. We had a very disappointing experience with subpar food and overly casual service with rock 'n' roll music blasting in an empty, brightly lit dining room. Felt like we were in a cafeteria.

I have only been here during their happy hour (only outdoor seating and bar seating), but the food was amazing and I will need to come back for dinner one day. I like that their happy hour does not only include drinks, but they have selected bites as well. My favorite food items were the Chicken Schnitzel and beef tartare. The cheeseburger was pretty good as well. The chicken schnitzel sandwich had a great crisp and sauce with it and the sandwich was huge. Looks like it was double stacked! The beef tartare was another favorite (we ate it so fast I didn't get a picture). The beef tartare was very fresh and had good seasoning on it. Must get that! For the drink special, I got Kevin punch and it was a great fruity and refreshing cocktail.

I can't believe I've waited so long to try this place. Came here for a celebratory dinner when a college friend was in town and was able to easily make a reservation (with LOTS of time options) for our large group of 8 on short notice. There is plenty of free street parking (and a few paid, $3-4 parking lots) nearby, and it's always a huge bonus to me when the parking situation is easy. The inside of the restaurant is decently spacious with one curtained off area and a larger back area for private events. We opted to sit outside, because it was a beautiful warm evening and we figured our group would be a bit loud & rambunctious and didn't want to disturb other patrons. (And we were lucky enough to have the patio largely to ourselves most of the night! Made our gathering feel private & wonderful!) Hands down, my favorite thing about the restaurant is the service here. We ordered drinks and food slowly, over 3 hours, and stayed after the restaurant has even closed. Our server, Cameron, was attentive and helpful with the menu and SO chill in letting us just really have a relaxed meal and good time and I'd come here again with a big group just to have the kind of special experience Cameron crafted for us. Food-wise, we opted to order a bunch of appetizers (8-9 orders for our group of 8), each order and entree, and then share two desserts, per our waiter's advice. I definitely felt full at the end but not overstuffed, so would be mindful that plates are on the smaller end here. Our standout appetizers were easily the focaccia with whipped ricotta and honey (we ordered 4 of these for our table!) and the tuna belly ceviche which was so light and delicate. The potato pave was a bit of a letdown for us, and I thought the turnip dish was good but nothing to write home about. The swoon-worthy entrees in our group were easily the roasted duck breast and the mussels ravioli. *chefs kiss* The swordfish schnitzel was decent but smothered in sauce, which detracted a bit from the dish. Lot of incredible cocktails at this place, and the lavender, brown-butter washes rum drink was a table favorite -- I think almost everyone ended up ordering that. I'd love to come back here during happy hour and just do drinks and that addictive focaccia situation. In total, our meal ended up being a bit more pricey than similar places I've been to (and some of that may have been because we all ordered multiple cocktails and cocktails are around $15-16 here), so I think I'd stick to coming here for a nice-r outing, but this place is such a fun and awesome experience for a foodie!

After being treated like some sort of gutter trash at a restaurant up the street, we wandered into Saint Stephen blindly and I’m so glad we did! Staff here are so incredibly kind! Our waitress (whose name I am so sorry I cannot remember but she had red hair) listened so patiently while I gave my sob story about how we had been treated at the other place and she was so supportive and sweet about it. The food and cocktails were amazing. Seriously can’t say enough good things! Thank you for being a beautiful, elegant spot without the forced pretentiousness of some of the spots in the neighborhood

Maybe the best dinner I have had in years. Our entire group felt the same. Outstanding. This is a Gem in Germantown. Excellent service.

MICHELIN STAR!!! Chef Corey served us a 17 course tasting menu and it was PHENOMENAL! We are foodies from California and this place blew us away!! 17 creative courses with zero pause, this was my favorite night in Nashville. Flavor and creativity was insane.

The food and service were phenomenal but towards the end of the meal I saw the owner/chef of the restaurant degrade and abuse the individual who made the meals that I ate for dinner without cause. Would recommend the atmosphere but not the business

Wonderful, attentive staff, delicious food. A Germantown gem.
