I'm not a foodie, and we mostly eat home cooked meals, but one of the reasons that Sam's is one of our go-to places for take out is that food here is delicious, healthy, affordable, and comforting. The falafel is awesome. I am a big fan of the gyro salad as well. My wife likes the combo platter. The owner really cares about his customers and the community and making sure they get the food they want.

I love middle eastern food but this place was rather average for my taste. I have been here twice. The first time I had the vegetarian sampler platter. It had pita, hummus, tabouli, mediterranean style salad, and falafel. The second trip I focused on their gyro. The gyro meat was already cut and in a warming tray.

We come here 1-2 times a month and are always pleased with the delicious food and consistently good service. My boyfriend and I get 2 sandwiches, falafel and gyro. They are so good that we get the same thing every time. We also enjoy the grape leaves and hummus. I definitely recommend, it is both of our favorite spot in Nashville.
