We dropped by this Asian eatery a little after the lunch rush, so the place wasn’t too crowded but still had a few diners around. Since we weren’t in the mood for hot pot, we went straight to the à la carte menu.

We started with the Sichuan-style cucumber salad. It was simple—just roughly chopped cucumber in a soy-based dressing—but refreshing on a warm day. Next, we tried the chicken wings, which turned out to be a disappointment. They lacked flavor, and despite what seemed like a happy-hour deal, they weren’t even close to decent. Definitely a miss.

For mains, we ordered cumin beef and my all-time favorite, Sichuan-style spicy fried chicken. The chicken came in bite-sized popcorn pieces, deep fried and tossed with garlic, cilantro, dried red chilies, and Sichuan peppercorns. It was bold, spicy, and had that classic numbing kick—irresistible and hard to stop eating. The cumin beef was also flavorful and satisfying, served with rice that we shared.

We had hoped to try a lobster dish, but unfortunately, they were out that day.

Overall, I’d say the place is decent—not the best Chinese food I’ve had, but far from bad. Some dishes (like the fried chicken and beef) stood out, while others (like the wings) fell flat.

The restaurant is not only beautiful and incredibly clean, and food is also outstanding. Each dish I tried was delicious, especially, small hot pot is one of my favorite. It is not only delicious also incredibly nutritious. By simmering a variety of fresh vegetables and quality meats in the broth, you create a well-rounded meal packed with essential vitamins and nutrients. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy a hearty, healthy dish that can help support your immune system. the staff made the experience even better—they were friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend Chinese restaurant.

The food is good. I only gave a 4star because I ordered cashew shrimp minus the nuts, it was covered in them. I was given a complimentary item for the mistake. It did take a long while before someone came to take our orders. We had to flag someone down, to get a waiter to us.

Place is really fabulous. Only true or close to Chinese cooking you can find in Nashville. Adventurous and comforting familiar food for all. Quirky interior, I dig it, but some may find it cheesy. The food though is spot on. Check out the Dim Sum menu also. Chinese tapas the best.
