Hands-down the best homestyle cooking I’ve ever had in my life. I travel the country for work, I’ve eaten in almost every state/city (mostly fine dining )and it’s been a very long time since I’ve been blown away by a restaurant.
When traveling through Nashville, I had to try some catfish before I left. The flavors of everything is overwhelming. Portion size for the price can’t be beat.
-Best macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had! -Best green beans I’ve ever had -Best fried fish I’ve ever had
100% family owned and operated. The team is beyond friendly and showed genuine southern hospitality.
I can’t wait to come back next time. I’m in Nashville!

I've been coming here for several years, looking forward to it every time I visit Nashville, as the food has always been really good. To my disappointment this past weekend visit the food was bad! Everything I ordered except the pound cake had a sour taste. The macaroni and cheese, green beans were overly seasoned and had a sour taste. The pork chop was super thin and tasted just ok. The cabbage I ordered for my husband was hard and the dressing was overly seasoned and sour tasting as well.$42 wasted. My mom and daughter's dinners were bad as well so another $40 something wasted.

This was my husband's and my first time visiting Silver Sands. I had heard great things about the place, so we decided to try it after church yesterday. My husband got ox tails, cabbage, green beans. He felt the ox tails were too greasy. I ordered turkey and dressing, green beans and sweet potatoes. There was so much pepper on the turkey and dressing, that I could not enjoy it. After a few bites, I threw my plate away because it was not good to me. Based on this experience, I am not sure if I will be back.

I came on a Sunday and everything was absolutely delicious! The turkey and dressing were flavorful and comforting, the mac & cheese was creamy and rich, and the green beans were seasoned to perfection. Every bite tasted homemade with love. I’ll definitely be back again.

Today was my first visit after bc living here. 12. Years. My dad. Loves. Meat and 3s/ soul food. So they visited a few months ago and this visit I went with them.
We arrived at 11 and I was greeted with a hug from. The owner along with my parents . It was an amazing atmosphere and so much. Good Food. ! Lots of locals.

The owner did not think they were up to her standards and brought out replacements... How did I grow up in Nashville and never knew this place was here? Money well spent and belly is well full now
