My first time visiting Sinema and absolutely loved it! Drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts were all so flavorful. So sad that they are closing so I hope they will find a new place to reopen.

Saturday Aug 31. 2024 will be their final day of operation. I am so very sorry that they were unable to negotiate a longer term lease with the building owners - Nashville is losing a truly fine restaurant and an amazing bar upstairs!

I hate this place is closing in Nashville, because this was seriously the best BOTTOMLESS brunch I've ever had in Nashville. From the different variations of food to the mimosas. I will deeply miss this spot and wish the people that work here all the best!

Sinema is a wonderful experience - from the "glory days of Hollywood glamour" interior, the exceptional bar and bartenders, the attentive and friendly wait staff an delicious food, it's a rare gem of a restaurant. They will be closing at the nd of August 2024, so we went for "one last meal", and it was excellent. Will miss Sinema tremendously.

This Gem of a place was the perfect spot to have an intimate dinner with my best friends to celebrate my upcoming wedding this fall. The service was great and staff were very polite and professional. The dishes were absolutely a chef's kiss ! and our taste buds were delighted with the appetizers and our entrees as well. the plating presentation was elegant and opulent as was all the decor and ambiance of this establishment. I am saddened to hear that they will be closing their doors. It was truly a delightful experience to the senses and I am so very happy my friends and I could enjoy this wonderful place! would return to its doors in a heartbeat : )

One of Nashville's truly under appreciated treasures— such a shame to lose this one!the setting, the service, the imaginative drinks, and most of all the incredibly delicious food—- all top notch. It's really awful that a lease deal couldn't be worked out!

Me and my date was in awe of how good the food was. Especially dessert, architecture and setting. We were quite disappointed being our first experience that it will be shutting down because we enjoyed it so much

Food was fabulous. The manager came around to visit with diners and was extremely hospitable. The waitress was slow but the food made the wait worth it. Noise was a little much but had a table of 8 sitting next to us being very loud. I highly recommend. Hate to see this place close and hope they reopen somewhere soon.

When I heard the news of the closing soon, we just to get in for brunch one last time. The food was tasty. The blueberry turnover was delicious!! The music was great! I made a mess with my cinnamon roll pancakes but it was so worth it! Again I hate that such a great place has to close. Maybe we'll see a return in the future called Matinee that serves brunch 7 days a week!! You'll be missed!

Alas, that Sinema is closing! It was our go-to-restaurant for special occasions. We had the tasting menu and it was (again) an outstanding dinner, well worth the price. If you are reading this, get there while you can!

We had a wonderful dinner and very pleasant evening at Sinema as part of our low-key 48th wedding anniversary. After hearing that the restaurant will be closing at the end of the month from one of the owners, we regret that we had not dined there more often and will try to get back at least one more time.

Our meal was nothing short of fabulous! I am so sad to see they are closing. My Bf and I had one of the best meals of our lives tonight and we eat out a lot. We had: - crispy rice - peach burrata - hot hoisin short ribs - special (grouper with crab risotto) I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Farewell Sinema! I already had brunch reservations when I got the word that Sinema was going to close at the end of the month. Let's just say I ate to my heart, and belly's overstuffed content. While some of the brunch items are incredibly well done, some left me perplexed at what they were going for. But, since it's basically all inclusive...who cares? Eat what you want, they'll make more. Well, for 2 more weeks at least. But, you must try the unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary's. They are well worth the buzz! Overall, a pleasant experience, but not one that I would rush to engage again. Fate has spoken.

This place was SO AMAZING!!! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I found out that they are closing at the end of the month and it made me so sad. If you have not gone yet, you need to go soon!

This restaurant is a gem! I just heard that they are closing on August 31st, 2024. If you haven't been there run, don't walk before they close. The decor is one you'll never see again! It was a movie theatre made into a restaurant/bar. There are movie screens throughout both up and downstairs. The nostalgia and pictures on the walls are mesmerizing. The food is top notch as well as the service. The drinks are also incredible. Hurry in this month before they close! You don't want to miss it!
