Quaint & Cute lil neighborhood bakery and cafe you can walk to, on a Saturday morning to grab a pastry and coffee. It’s just adorable inside. We went around 9ish and they had a full spread of baked good. An older lady stopped by briefly after and said, “I never see the whole selection because y’all are always sold out, I’m glad I came early to have more options available”. All of that is true. If you go around noon, most of their stuff is sold out. By 10ish, there was a long line inside - people walking their dogs stopping by for their coffee fix, so someone finishing their assignment inside while drinking coffee - you’ll see a wide variety of customers inside. There’s a small parking lot outside you can use if you’re driving. Staff is friendly. Coffee, specially their espresso shot, is not bad for a bakery that serves coffee. I got their Bourbon Vanilla Latte with oat milk and it wasn’t bad at all. In fact, I liked the coffee better than the blueberry muffin I tried. It had a very thick sweet lemon glaze and it was just too sweet for me. I have had a better blueberry muffin at other bakeries but if I’m in the area, looking for coffee and pastries, I’ll definitely come by again.

Burrito was wonderful. Banana bread has wayyyyyy too much sugar. Still good but I was not a fan. Cute shop.Parking: Small parking lot in front of building. We had an easy time parking

I love Slow Hand so much. Super friendly staff makes you feel right at home, and k really do believe that they have some of the best lattes in town. I go 3 times a week!

One of the best coffee shops in Nash!

Place was amazing when it first opened. They lost their Cook and then it's never been the same since. I tried going back today and paid $14 for a burrito which was practically scalded by the heat lamp from sitting for so long. The coffee and baked goods are fine but what I don't like is that you can't get what you want on their menu for the entire time they're open. Once they run out of stuff they're done but originally you could go in and order food and they would just make it like a regular place and I miss that.

I visited at the perfect time of year to try literally almost all their pumpkin treats and every single one was sublime! I love the atmosphere inside this little shop for a cup of coffee and cranking out some work, and the big dog friendly front porch for a slow morning and conversation. This will be a regular stop and a place I take friends and family to visit!

We absolutely love Slow Hand, and get their pastries and biscuits at least monthly. They did a bulk order for our wedding day 5k and they were so easy to work with and the value for the food they provided was incredible. Thanks!

The biggest problem I have with Slow Hand is the misleading information on social media and google. There are pictures of pastries and a menu full of various options for biscuits, toast, and even a breakfast plate. In reality, nothing is made to order. The front of the building literally has "kitchen" in the name and there is no one cooking. The biscuits are pre made, kept in a warmer, and they only have a couple options depending on the day. The staff is very friendly and for a pre made biscuit it is actually very good. But it seems like a very misleading ploy to capitalize on Nashville tourism. Go for the coffee and set your alarm early to get a pastry. If you're looking for anything more, there are plenty of other options in East Nashville.

The staff was super friendly and helpful (new to the area) - the cookies were amazing! Very cute inside and out, looking forward to trying more from this local shop.

There sandwiches are not made to order. They have premade egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese. There is not a chicken biscuit and “rarely” a sausage biscuit like the photos suggest. I got the bacon biscuit and I could barely taste the thin bacon and the biscuit was dry. I also picked up a chocolate chip cookie and I would have been better off going to Christie Cookies. In response to owner: The pics on Google, which I am reviewing on and probably what most people see show the chicken biscuit as a menu item. It was one of the first pics I saw when looking you up on Google and why I came to the shop. It was just a warning to future customers that the sandwich is no longer an option. The cashier herself said that “rarely” you all had sausage biscuits. The biscuit was still dry, the bacon was barely there, and I stand by my Christie Cookie comment. Also, 4 years ago it appears that the sandwiches were being made fresh bc there’s a note about wait times for each sandwich to be made. For 8.50 cents I did expect more than a dried up premade sandwich. I love supporting small businesses but it’s not an excuse for producing what I got today. P.S. I don’t even like Christie like that but I prefer it over that cookie.
