“We wanted to eat Korean in Nashville and this place is one of the few places that open on Sunday. The Korean food here in Nashville has more flavors than the previous place we tried at Destin.

The server ladies all were so nice here. The beef tofu soup has sufficient amount of beef. The Jajangmyeon was decent. The Tteokbokki does not come with fish cake, decent. The fried Mandu is crispy.“

“Hands down the best and most authentic Al Pastor in Nashville. It is cooked on the vertical spit, aka El Trompo, with a pineapple on top allowing the juice to keep the meat juicy. You get a free Coke and they have all the sauces and toppings you could want for free.“

“Honestly, Good little sushi restaurant.
I don't really think rock n roll when I think sushi, but it was a pretty good experience overall.
Prices were reasonable, food tasted good and were good portions, not too busy, service was great, drinks were great. They even had glutton free soy sauce. I also liked the fact that you can still find nearby street parking around this part of town that isn't going to cost you money.

“I have been ordering the beef pho with oxtails since I’ve been in Nashville and it has consistently been so good!! The broth has depth and full of flavor! The bun bo hue is amazingly delicious too! Get extra garnish, noodles and odds n ends, thank me later!“

He went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, gave us extra food when we didn't ask for it and was very personable with my fiance and I. “What a cute little hole in the wall place!! I took some pictures with arrows to show how to get to the cafe, there’s another review with good instructions on how to get there too. We got the slice of life on a tomato wrap and the Athens gyro on a whole wheat wrap. The slice of life is so light and refreshing, veggies were crisp, flavorful, and the turkey had a gentle smoked flavor that complimented the basil-garlic mayo perfectly, 10/10. The Athens gyro was exactly what you’d expect and hope for, super flavorful, refreshing just like the slice of life! For smoothies we got the piña colada and the peach (with extra bananas). Both are easily the best smoothies we’ve had in Nashville. Super bright flavors in both and great size for price, I really cannot recommend more!! They also have countless other little snacks and drinks for sale as well, we couldn’t help ourselves and grabbed a few things we hadn’t seen before, like interesting Snapple flavors and lots of different chips too. I am so shocked that this place wasn’t booming with how good, fresh, well thought out, and charming it is. Not to mention that the owner was beyond kind and fun to chat with while we waited (not even 10 minutes for 2 wraps and 2 smoothies to be made) I absolutely recommend stopping by for lunch :)“

“Located in the Mariachi Plaza, inside a grocery store is this food counter with two ladies pumping out grub.

It's small, hot, dive like but - wow - flavor packed goodness on huge, big as yor head buns.

The Torta Cubano had chorizo, ground beef, ham, a got dog (?, wierd), fried egg, cheese and lettuce. The Regular was just chorizo and beef.

Got some Agua Frescas (limon and pina) and we chowed down.

“The Chicken Lo Mein is great there & the spring egg rolls! You can eat inside it has a few booths. China King is a small place but clean & friendly & big on taste. Located across from Walmart in Hermitage Tn & close to CiCi's Pizza is where you find China King. We normally just show up an order to go food. Its ready in under 15 minutes. The food is hot & fresh & the staff are friendly & helpful. Its a perfect little local dive & you and your family cant go wrong by picking up lunch or dinner there. The chicken lo mein & egg rolls is great! The portions are more than enough.

“I went to this place on 6/5/25. The Manager name at the time was, Shemeka Conley, she was very professional as were the rest of the staff and nice. She came to my table and made sure I was good. The food, the food was very good I ordered the pick two, the cheese steak and the poppyseed strawberry chicken salad my first time trying it and it was good!!“
