“Honestly, Good little sushi restaurant.
I don't really think rock n roll when I think sushi, but it was a pretty good experience overall.
Prices were reasonable, food tasted good and were good portions, not too busy, service was great, drinks were great. They even had glutton free soy sauce. I also liked the fact that you can still find nearby street parking around this part of town that isn't going to cost you money.

“Hands down the best and most authentic Al Pastor in Nashville. It is cooked on the vertical spit, aka El Trompo, with a pineapple on top allowing the juice to keep the meat juicy. You get a free Coke and they have all the sauces and toppings you could want for free.“

“What a cute little hole in the wall place!! I took some pictures with arrows to show how to get to the cafe, there’s another review with good instructions on how to get there too. We got the slice of life on a tomato wrap and the Athens gyro on a whole wheat wrap. The slice of life is so light and refreshing, veggies were crisp, flavorful, and the turkey had a gentle smoked flavor that complimented the basil-garlic mayo perfectly, 10/10. The Athens gyro was exactly what you’d expect and hope for, super flavorful, refreshing just like the slice of life! For smoothies we got the piña colada and the peach (with extra bananas). Both are easily the best smoothies we’ve had in Nashville. Super bright flavors in both and great size for price, I really cannot recommend more!! They also have countless other little snacks and drinks for sale as well, we couldn’t help ourselves and grabbed a few things we hadn’t seen before, like interesting Snapple flavors and lots of different chips too. I am so shocked that this place wasn’t booming with how good, fresh, well thought out, and charming it is. Not to mention that the owner was beyond kind and fun to chat with while we waited (not even 10 minutes for 2 wraps and 2 smoothies to be made) I absolutely recommend stopping by for lunch :)“

I spent 3 months in Nashville for an internship and visited this place multiple times every week.The language barrier is real though, so be prepared to use google translate on your phone.But all in all, it is unreal how authentic and good this food is. It's worth just the trip to eat there.“
