We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.

Cool atmosphere, modern but retro vibes. Beer is awesome.

Couldn't read the menu (bad vision), guy at the counter said there wasn't an updated printer version. That was the extent of his help. Beer was good. Patio could use some TLC.

Kid and pet friendly at both tap rooms. Great service, Great food and the beers are out of this world.

I went on a solo date in the area and decided to try the place out. I had the Dry Aged Burger and Ginger Ale. Both items were great, as well as the customer service.

This place has the best sour beer selection in the Nashville area. This is my favorite brewery in Nashville.

My husband is a brewer in OKC, and when we travel, we like to start out exploring a city by trying out a couple breweries. For our trip to Nashville, we pulled right into town and up to the bar at Souther Grist. That ended up being an elite decision. We arrived and immediately hit it off with the staff, who chatted with us our entire time. We ended up sampling several of their beers, and each were excellent. I like a sour beer and believe I ended up trying everything they had on at the time, and they just kept getting better. My husband tried a few of their IPAs and lagers, and we were both just so impressed. We got lots of great food recommendations, and just overall had a great time. In all our brewery hopping across the country, we both agreed this may have been our favorite by far. Excellent work to the entire brew crew and staff!!
