Wonderful appetizers. Beef bruschetta and creamy tomato soup were delicious. Full of flavors. Entrees not so much. No flavoring on my undercooked steak. Gouda mashed potatoes just had a slice of cheese folded into them --once cheese gone so was flavor. Grilled broccoli was okay, but again no seasoning. Waitress was great ---attentive. Manager was responsive, but free desserts did not make up for the entrees.
I am obsessed with Southside. I swear you all played a major role in making life tolerable during covid with your continued business and the kind notes you wrote on each bag. Southside is always the first place I think of when deciding where to eat out. The food is fresh and affordable. The staff is super friendly. The option to eat outside is available all year long with the set up you all have. It's a super cozy vibe. Simply the best!

Sadly, for us, it seems to have outgrown its neighborhood charm and was less inviting and warm than previous visits. We went early on Christmas Eve with a reservation. The hostess was less than welcoming and really set the tone for the experience....
