Went past night around 6:30, it was great. Pretty crowded but fast service, good beer, really good sandwich and burger. Some weirdo even threw stuff at Levi the bartender who kept his cool. Levi is a Very nice guy, very cool guy.
I'm in the 3.5-star range on Spicy Boys. This place is above average, with the potential to go higher. I judge Cajun places on their gumbo. And it missed the mark. My catfish entree was acceptable. A different night, a different experience.

This place is just missing the loving vibe of what you’d expect from a Cajun New Orleans restaurant. It comes across as the local “all white” dive bar. The name and appearance just does not match the presence of this place and it’s confusing for an out of town patron in the hood of Nashville. You going expecting the flavor and vibe of Cajun cuisine and its rock music, weird glances and just so unexpected, Lol!! Once the lady patron left with her mate I felt like I just shouldn’t be eating here… sad to feel that energy and weirdness in 2025. But I appreciated that the service was fast, straight forward and cool. Prices I felt were fair and I appreciated that he doesn’t beg for tips that was nice, Lol. Everything was meh nothing special or worth revisiting.
