I don't leave many reviews, positive or negative, but this quaint place with good food and drinks does the trick for my temporary stints in Nashville. There's also a nice meadery (honeytree meadery) down the street. Nobody will complain if you buy a bottle from them and take it home to drink with your family during the holidays.

It was quiet when I was in here. I have no idea why. The po'boys were AMAZING. Staff was friendly and efficient. If you haven't tried it, you should. I'm an out of towner and I really enjoyed it.

As someone from SE Louisiana, this is by far the BEST Cajun food I've had North of Louisiana. My wife and I got to meet the owner and he was awesome. A lot of the food in Nashville is very gimmicky, so it was nice to get some good ol comfort food. This was the most I've eaten since we left for vacation. Highly recommend the roast beef poboy and gumbo. They do a tremendous job here.

Enjoyed a mid-afternnon lunch with my wife. We had only just heard about Spicy Boys, and being born in Louisiana, I was longing for some Cajun goodness. We had the shrimp PO'boys with Cajun fries, a bowl of gumbo, beer and ice tea. It hit the spot! The chef delivered the food and greeted us! Where else does that take place? Great, friendly service, superb food, and plenty of LSU and Saint's memorabilia to make me feel at home! The bartender was conversational and heightened the experience. We'll definitely be going back for a game day experience!

Best Cajun I have had North of Louisiana. Absolutely authentic shrimp po’ boy with delicious plump Gulf shrimp on amazing fresh bread, super zingy red beans and rice with actual Cajun flavor (not just salt and heat), and even the cole slaw was next-level. Atmosphere in the dining area was so-so, vibe in the bar and outdoors looked great, but it didn’t matter since I was too busy having me eyes roll back in my head at how delicious it was.

My go to restaurant. Always great food here. I always take friends and family here when they come to town, everybody loves it. Their gumbo has a real Dark roux and tastes amazing. I’ve tried at least half the menu and I’m always impressed. Really cool place and staff. Good music. Outside seating also. I’ve been to every gumbo and poboy spot in Nashville and spicy boys is by far the best. It’s the kind of place that should be winning big awards but is also probably too cool for awards in the first place. Eat here Your stomach deserves it

I've lived in Nashville for over two years now, tried Spicy Boys as soon as I got to town and it has easily been my favorite restaurant in the entire city. Food is 10/10 everytime, the best gumbo I've had in my life! If you are looking for a reliable place, where the food tastes better each time you visit, Spicy Boys is for you. Whenever I move away, I will make time to come back for some Spicy Boys! Please never change!!!

Get this. Charbroiled oysters on Wednesdays. Gumbo was great. And the meat pie was a dippable delicacy with their house remoulade. Get there early.

Got the Surf & Turf Po Boy and it did not disappoint. Just got a half and I was full! The roast beef debris on it was exceptional! The Cajun Fries were also very good and well seasoned. Staff was super nice.
