Total. Dive. Bar. And I’m there for it. Found it waiting for food from Red’s next door. Total gem of a place including Lola. Worth a visit. I’d love to see it during more lively hours. CASH ONLY.
I got a great vibe, just walking in to Springwater. Besides the history included within, there's just a lot of cool kitsch all around- decals, fixtures, and posters. The pool table is a nice touch, but there's also simulated golf as well. The preservation of the old "Prohibition Era door" gives a great connection to the past. I regret not trying the hot chicken at the restaurant next door, but I will be sure to do next time!
This place is what Nashville is all about! A precious dive bar where many aspiring artists got their start. Staff are welcoming and friendly and it's close to everything downtown Nashville. You can walk up and order Nashville Hot Chicken from Red's next door and go sit in Springwater to wash it down with a cold beer and enjoy live music.
