I was in the area for a work near Vanderbilt. I’m not sure what motivated me to walk to the Parthenon in August, but boy was I glad this place was nearby! It was so hot outside but the bar was cool, dark, and had cold beer. Bartender was an incredibly kind woman. Same goes for the man seated at the bar who I assume is one of the owners. Easily my favorite place in Nashville! It would have been a gem even without the incredible chicken spot next door (Fried Chicken Crunchwrap! Whoa!), but the real highlight was Paula working the bar! Top notch service, and incredible stories! If I lived in Nashville, I’d be here all the time. Thanks so much!
We met Lola as lil puppy dogs, waiting to gain admittance to the bar. She opened the bar and proceeded to treat us to the best tour in town. While downing one of the great selections they offered, she wowed us with her knowledge of the area and musicians to come through Springwater. We had such a good time, that we came back not once but two times over the next three days. (We came in from Texas to Nashville for the first time).
