Hands down you are coming for the food. Sort of a shipping container vibe which I am all about, but the tables were a little sticky. There is a fireplace which I wish was lite as it would have added a nice touch. Like I said you are coming for the food.
Hands down some of the best Thai Street Food I have had in a long time. I wish I would have taken some photos to make you hungry. We had a fried as well as grilled chicken entree. Both were very flavorful, cooked to perfect as in moist and juicy chicken. Fresh lettuce as well as herbs to wrap around the chicken pieces. Along with a side of sticky rice. The sauces were fantastic. Everything was very fresh as well as flavorful. Staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly.
I would definitely be eating it more often if I lived in Nashville!

Fresh and delicious fried chicken experience. We got the 4 piece, served only dark meat, as it should be. Accompanied by sticky rice, excellent sauces, fresh herbs and greens to wrap it all up. Taking a bit of sticky rice and some fresh herbs to wrap up crispy bites of chicken and dip in sweet chile sauce made for the perfect bite. In the ‘the wash’ small food hall type space, outdoor seating. Perfect setting for a nearly perfect fried chicken experience. Tried the chicken skins as well, crispy and melt in your mouth perfection. Thai tea a must try as well. Well worth a visit.

I’ve had SS Gai twice now and the food is absolutely delicious! The grilled and fried chicken is perfectly seasoned and juicy and all the things you could want from chicken. Love the fresh veggies on the side, the sticky rice. Just tried the mango sticky rice and WOW. All-around awesome food!
