Got a sandwich on a cheese bagel rather than an everything bagel. Didn't notice until we got home. Had to throw it out since I hate cheese. Terrible.

We often times come by this quaint, old fashioned bit of retro Nashville to enjoy our favorite version of the classic lox and cream cheese on a toasted bagel with tomatoes, onions and capers! They also have a great staff, cappuccino machine and cooler with specialty fruit juices. Indoor dining and an outdoor deck as well.

I wanted to like this place, it seemed like a nice spot with some interesting food and drink options. They asked for a name for our order but no one called out to let us know it was ready. I had a chicken salad sandwich that was ok, it lacked any real flavor. My daughter had a bagel with lox and she said it was very good. My warm apple cider was very good too. I would give this place a second try.

I want to be up front and say I have never left a review before, but this time something had to be said. I have lived in Nashville for 4 years and until recently I tried star bagel for the first time, but unfortunately I was met with massive disappointment. The bagel was dry, tomato was not ripe, egg tasted like it just came out of a microwave. Asked for a latte and I got a big cup of milk with an espresso shot. The cherry on top was eating out on the patio while cigar smoke was fuming out of the cigar shop next store. There was also no napkins in the napkin dispensers.
Bagels and cream are good. I just wish they didn't microwave their eggs, it makes them inedible.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience absolutely warranted one.
The shop was extremely overcrowded, with a very poor interior layout, customers were packed together shoulder to shoulder waiting for orders, creating an uncomfortable environment from the start. It took over 20 minutes just to receive two bagels.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food was even more disappointing than the wait. I ordered the Denver bagel and my husband ordered a standard breakfast bagel, we consider ourselves true bagel enthusiasts, and I can honestly say these were among the most flavorless, plain, and unenjoyable bagels we’ve ever had. To make matters worse, there was a hair in my Denver bagel, which is completely unacceptable for any food establishment.
Nashville has much better options, Ugly Bagel and Jersey Oven remain superior in both flavor and quality. This shop has potential given how busy it was, but the poor execution, lack of attention to cleanliness, and the disappointing food are serious issues and need to be addressed immediately.

Food was fabulous... Set ice was fast and friendly. The scallion cream cheese was amazing and tasted fresh. Only bad thing is that there are so many great choices, it's hard to decide what to have. Definitely coming back to try more.
