Food was exceptional! Steak was tender, and didn’t leave hungry. The menu is minimal but every dish is perfected. Server was also wonderful. A more casual style restaurant. Will be returning.

I was in Nashville for my birthday with my girlfriend and wanted to attempt the Ol 76er challenge. I unfortunately came up a tad bit short and was unable to complete the challenge. The steak was cooked perfectly. I think it was a prime rib roast. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Nashville.

Here visiting family. $10 cover was fine. Sat down for dinner an hour before the music started. Good cocktails. Delicious meal, server was kind and clearly “stretched” but she always back to check on us. Talented musicians. Evening was most enjoyable!

Our family night out is on Sunday. We had a party of 6 Sunday, October 6th. Star Rover Sound was our destination. We had already been there twice before. On October 6th, we all absolutely loved the food and live music, featuring Chandler Flint!! It was great! Our server, Catherine, was wonderful! She was very sweet, and gave us the most excellent service of all the restaurants we have eaten!! She is so amazing! We all love Catherine!! Our food was fresh, hot, and delicious! It was a marvelous experience. We will definitely return to Star Rover Sound!!

We are big Ford Fry fans, & we were looking to try something new while visiting Nashville. Star Rover Sound did not disappoint at all. Unlimited rolls for the table that were reminiscent of JCT, & our steaks were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is welcoming & has the feeling + decor of a steakhouse. Service was top notch, & we met the mangers & others who were also from Atlanta. Probably my new favorite Ford Fry spot.

Food was good, service was ok, however we thought it was a bit distasteful that a cover was included on our bill when we made a reservation. The band did not start until 30 minutes after we sat down as well. Photo attached of receipt.
What a great experience! Very laid back and approachable twist on an old-school steakhouse. Everything we ate was so good and the servers were down to earth and very kind. I recommend the filet and the brown butter soft serve!

We have enjoyed all of Ford Fry's restaurants in Atlanta and Nashville. This was our first visit to SR. Best filet I have ever had! All the food was yummy and service was very nice. Ford Fry should be happy with the crew here.

Service was friendly but inefficient ... lots of “oops let me check on that..”. Margarita was not great and one filet came very well done that was supposed to be medium. Also, the ribeye was more along a “strip” cut .. I've never seen a ribeye with that shape and texture....
Amazing food and service. Our server, Cat, was the most gracious and accommodating. My mother-in-law said it was the best steak she's had in years! We will absolutely be back. Fantastic!
