I ordered the Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) (3*). I also ordered the chili bowl with shrimp and pork steamed dumplings (5*). The soups dumplings were bland, very little flavor and in need of a sauce to dip them into. They dumplings themselves were soft and had some soup in them but were really not worth the price nor the 20 minute wait. Go elsewhere if you want soup dumplings or at least get a couple sauces.
The steamed dumplings were great. Juicy, tender, flavorful and they hit the spot. The right amount of flavor, spice, and salinity, they were worth it. I would return again to enjoy these.
The service was great. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what is on offer and what is popular.
The ambiance is nice due to the communal setup of various seating areas around and between all the restaurants. Very nice set up.

Inside the Assembly Food Hall. My pork and shrimp dumplings were delicious. I make them as well at home, I would suggest adding green onions or some seaweed and a special sauce to top it off. Very good dish.

This was my wife's idea. I know, shocking that a wife can decide where to eat. LOL
It was an excellent choice. We ate way more that we needed, but wanted to try multiple things on the menu. This ain't exactly what we usually eat, and wanted to hone in on what we order for future visits. I'll just get the beef soup next time, but with extra beef. It was delicious. My wife will get a steamed bun and we'll share seared pork and cabbage dumplings.

The girl taking order seemed nice at first, but she kept asking back what I said. Only later I realized she had AIRPODS on. Huh? Do I have to articulate myself over and over in loud voice just to go past the layer of airpods? Doesn't make sense to me.
Food wise, it is doable, for an Asian restaurant in Tennessee. The seafood soup would do well for hangover. Liked the boiled dumplings.

The food here was not good. We ordered the beef soup, veggie soup, and some pan fried dumplings. The dumplings were ok, but I requested the soup be mild spiciness and it was so hot I couldn’t eat it.
The dumplings were real good. FYI soup dumplings can kill. The people were nice tho

Loved it! Had the veggie, pork and beef bao buns and the dough was really tasty but the beef and pork hands down stole the show and are worth it! We cut them in half and then were able to sample multiple options and still eat a few different places. Also super friendly guy at the cash register and very fast service. If I had more time I would have gotten soup dumplings as well
