We ordered steamed pork and cabbage and steamed chicken and cabbage they charge extra for hot chili sauce. The dough was thick and the stuffing was like a paste you couldn’t really see any meat or cabbage. It was flavorful but not memorable.

The soup dumplings were okay. These seem to be fairly popular, though they take about 15 min to prepare (which I do appreciate that they told me that upfront). But they were incredibly deflated and overcooked, which meant the soup wasn't really, well, soupy. It still tasted good, in a normal steamed dumpling with loose skin kind of way, but as a place that specializes in dumplings, I'm surprised they aren't able to cook these properly. That said, the metal tins do make it easier to eat.

I really wanted to try this place. Walked 0.3 miles from the hotel over. No line and walked up. It felt like we waited forever but it probably 5-7 minutes. Several groups got in line behind us and left after waiting too long. One employee was making Boba and restocking items, another (I think the cook) was watching a movie on his phone and a third came back from getting ice, came out to the front looked at the line went back into the back. I get you're busy but come on at least acknowledge that we're there or tell us you'll be right with us. Don't make eye contact with us for a split second and not say anything. And why choose to restock items when there is a line? Closing time wasnt for another hour. Hopefully next time I'm in Nashville I can try it out.
