I have picked up food occasionally, really good and fresh. They also don’t take long at all to prepare your food! Great place!!

Chef Ming at Sumo Sushi and Thai is truly exceptional! Every dish is crafted with such precision, blending fresh ingredients into a perfect balance of flavors. My favorite dishes are the red curry (extra spicy!), the tuna dip with shrimp crackers, and the Volcano roll—all absolute must-tries. And if you’re an espresso martini fan, don’t miss out on theirs; it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Chef Ming’s creativity and passion shine through in every bite, making Sumo Sushi and Thai a top-notch dining experience at amazing reasonable prices. That is a huge win living in downtown Nashville for over 18 years. Highly recommend! Tons of Parking in the back too! Double win!

Excellent red curry, did 3.5 for spice. Very good raw proteins- tuna & salmon nigiri on point. Came in on a slow mid afternoon on a Saturday.

We came in on a slow Sunday night, only ones in the building. Very nice Atmosphere, Clean interior, and very nice people. The food was 110% 5/5, tastes fresh, and looks amazing!! Good drink selection and great happy hour!! We struggled to find a good sushi/asian sit down place but we have now found it!! This place needs to be on your list for sure!!

This was $20 guys. I’ve never over paid for something more in my life. Maybe 5 small pieces of salmon? Don’t waste your money here! They didn’t even give me both “free sauces” that I chose. Pathetic

Came here shortly after moving in down 8th ave. Red curry and Drunken noodles had the exact flavor I was looking for! The kind lady who served us was very attentive and good with serving everyones tables (all by herself)! Found the new thai spot and can’t wait to return and try some other options on the menu!
