I went here with a group of friends for brunch and I must say I was highly impressed with the service, food, and ambience. It was a group of 10 and our server didn't miss a beat. This is the first time I've been with a big party and no one's order was wrong, nothing went back to the kitchen, and service was to tier. She was quick on her feet and able to explain everything in detail. The DJ was amazing and kept the vibe going., I literally can't think of anything negative about my experience EXCEPT my grits were not good. Yuck! Outside of that everything was amazing. I will be visiting again.,

Amazing ambiance here. So grown, sexy, and sophisticated. I visited on a Saturday night for dinner. The DJ did a great job. Neo soul and old school R&B were the vibes all night. My food was good. Though I asked for medium rare and my steak came out medium well. The service was fair. The parking is awful so beware. I look forward to going back for brunch.

This restaurant is in the old Faison's restaurant on Belcourt. The food was B-minus/C-plus at best, and for that it was really overpriced compared to some steak houses in Nashville that are similarly priced and substantially better. We were a party of 6 and all had different things. The French fries appetizer were frozen fries, the oysters were brought out at room temperature on a plate with no ice and no cocktail sauce or lemon and they didn't taste right, the steak was overcooked by two categories, the pasta was about cafeteria grade, the salad ordered with chicken came without chicken. The wait staff was pleasant the service was okay, although we were told the fries were fresh cut when we asked before ordering and when they clearly were not the wait staff went back and confirmed that they were indeed frozen and she had given us the wrong information. The wait staff did offer to add chicken once we pointed out that the dish had come without chicken, which was indicated on the bill. This is one of those new Nashville restaurants that we can't see lasting. Below average food and overpriced.

Had brunch with my wife and her two friends while in town for a conference. Tons of natural light and great music is the first thing that caught my attention. Ambiance and vibez were top tier. Drinks came out quickly and our server was extremely attentive. Food was fire. We ordered the fried fish and grits (side of chicken wings), catfish and waffles, shrimp and grits, and omelette. No complaints from my group. Took the obligatory flower wall picture after brunch. We will definitely be back next time we visit Nashville.

Excellent experience. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to come here. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the server was very attentive to us, I would definitely come back. The only draw back is that there's no parking for the restaurant unless you valet park or pay for parking. But this is minor compared to the service and the food.

First time dining experience. The fried chicken and the filet mignon were excellent choices!! We loved the vibe, our service was on point, and the food portions and presentation so good. Only complaint is after ordering espresso martinis, we opted for a glass of prosecco each as we finished our meal. At $20 per glass, we thought that was steep as you rarely see prosecco on menus for more than $15. But we will be back as we loved the overall experience. Thank you!

First and foremost, I love that this restaurant is black owned!! The service was excellent! I loved the location, lighting, and decor! Let's get into the dining experience. The food was pretty pricey. I understand times are changing but I think some dishes could've been lower in price. For instance, I chose the vegan pasta, which was essentially spaghetti with a few vegetables and vegetarian meat. I am a little biased because I eat a lot of vegan food, but this dish was not seasoned that well and it was $40! For a meal to be that expensive, I need it to be top tiered. lol They should definitely should switch out the linguine pasta with angel hair pasta, season it better lol, and maybe add a little vegan cream to make it more zesty. If the vegetarian meat is too costly, they could also fry tofu and serve that with the pasta as well. I would probably invest into better chefs to be honest, no shade, but I'm just being honest. I also noticed that the menus were a little stained. I would suggest using digital menus or limiting the menu to two laminated sheets. The music was also too loud, I had a hard time hearing the people sitting next to me. Overall, it was still a good experience but I want to see black businesses succeed!! Lastly, I'm proud of the owners for making this great investment! I just think there needs to be a few tweaks.

We arrived and were sat immediately, and greeted promptly with water for the table. The waiter came over quickly and recommended cocktails and appetizers to start. The food and drinks were all delicious but I think the prices were high. The sides were a la carte and the portions were large enough to share. I would recommend for date night or large parties. Be prepared to spend.

This place is highway robbery. It’s trying to be expensive but serving microwaved Sysco products for $50. Cocktails were a disgrace, literally covered in glitter and filled with juice. Ambience looks like an airport lounge. The short rib and grits were abysmal. I could cook a short rib in a slow cooker 10x better and you literally can’t screw a short rib up.Please look at the grits in the photo. Is it cornbread? Drier than the Saharan desert. Absurd. Please go eat at the dominos next door. You’ll spend 10% of the price and be 100x happier.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to anywhere in the world in my life. The food is all frozen. Its disgusting. The grits were dry and looked like cornbread. Salmon was out of a freezer and pork and french fries. Cheap decor, wedding plastic chairs. No olives for martinis, no beer. Absolute trash AND expensive. This place needs to shut down. NEVER eat here

Went with my girls for brunch . We ordered steak & eggs, soul waffles, French toast with scrambled eggs, potatoes and turkey bacon on the side. Our wait wasn't too long. The hostess was friendly. When we started ordering we tried to order crab cakes (listed on the menu) but she advised they don't serve them anymore. The soul waffles $38 came with yams, Mac & cheese collard greens with your choice of fried chicken or fish on top of a waffle. No complaints it was delicious. The French toast was $18 had a grand marnier orange sauce on top. The French toast itself was hard I had to use a knife to cut it. The waitress advised they just brought it back to the menu that same day so maybe they haven't perfected it yet. The side of turkey bacon was super hard I think they microwaved it. The steak and eggs was good. The steak was a good size for it to be $53. So they were out of Heinz 57 sauce so the waitress offered A1, but she said it's a $2 charge to use it....yeah ...NO. We also tried the soul rolls it's an egg roll with collard greens, Mac & cheese and yams. They are very good a little greasy. It's definitely worth trying. So overall everything was good! A little pricey for no reason but I guess it works for tourists.

This place was STRUGGLING on a Sunday. I know this place is new so they have some kinks to work out. The food was cold and mediocre. Nothing came out together. The service was decent. They did try to accommodate. I can’t say I would go again.

The supper club service was amazing, especially the bartender Dallas. She was so good that she made up for the mediocre food. The vibe of the place was cool, and the service was on point, but the food was just okay for the price.
