Sweet BBQ at Nashville International Airport was okay — not terrible, not amazing, just middle-of-the-road. The staff was friendly and moved quickly, which I appreciated, especially on a tight layover.
The food itself was decent, but not memorable. The flavor was there, but the portions felt a little small for the price, and the meat could’ve been more tender.
For an airport BBQ spot, it gets the job done, but it didn’t stand out compared to other dining options in BNA.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re hungry and need something quick, but I wouldn’t specifically go out of my way for it.

Best food I ever had in an airport; better than Kay breakfasts I've had at other restaurants. The woman behind the counter was amazingly nice and friendly.

$51 for 2 dinners (each dinner 1 meat & 2 sides) & 2 extra sides but I thought I was at an airport waiting to catch a flight. Then I bit into the fried pork chop ooh my word! 🤤 so delicious.
Quick southern meal needed before boarding a flight out and the catfish was perfect. It was not only a large portion but seasoned well. The mashed potatoes and green beans were spot on. Highly recommend.
Food was awesome! Very reasonably priced for what you get at an airport!
3 stars for decent sides but consistently TERRIBLE service. $4.25 per side is insane even in the airport. Hard pass.
The flavors were incredible! Every dish was cooked to perfection, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Can’t wait to come back!” Thanks to Jamel and his team for making this an awesome experience
Overall, pretty good especially for airport food. We stopped by for breakfast during a layover and got an order of sausage, an order of bacon, and a biscuit. The sausage came with two patties and the bacon with about five pieces, and they weren’t paper thin. The sausage had a great flavor and wasn’t dry, nor was the biscuit. It looks clean and there’s a few good seats around the counter.
For our order, it cost $13.75. Not bad in the realm of airport food, especially because the food exceeded our expectations.

Be aware of them, always ask for your receipt because they can charge you an astronomical overcharged amount if you don't ask for your receipt

Rated as a place to get food in an airport: it worked pretty well. If it wasn't in a captive location, it wouldn't survive. The service was very good, the food was tasty, but for the price - I think I was served caviar. I ordered the fried catfish and added green beans & corn as sides. All of them were very tasty. The portions were a bit disappointing for the price and I've NEVER had a thinner piece of fish. Next time, I'll try a different spot. Didn't dislike this one and if the lines were long in other spots, I would go again. I just wouldn't have high expectations.

I had the occasion to eat here twice in 5 days while on layovers. While the name SWETT’S BBQ is slightly misleading, I was not disappointed. This is a counter serve fast southern style restaurant. Our server was all alone at the moment we arrived but quickly took good care of us as soon as she finished with other customers.
I had fried pork chops, beef tips, collard greens and broccoli casserole. I’ll just say that I ate every last bit and that it all had ten times the flavor of today’s lunch at Ol’ Red across the way.
The variety here is good. Seating is shared with other counter serves but is ample and within an easy listen to the live music.
Definitely a do again.

Stuck at the airport, and decided to swing by here for lunch. Opted for the pulled pork, turnip greens, and mac and cheese.
The first two were really good (from a yankee's perspective, and the portion was fair for the price; which has never been my experience with airport food.
I definitely recommend stopping by if you're at BNA and need some food.
