Rated as a place to get food in an airport: it worked pretty well. If it wasn't in a captive location, it wouldn't survive. The service was very good, the food was tasty, but for the price - I think I was served caviar. I ordered the fried catfish and added green beans & corn as sides. All of them were very tasty. The portions were a bit disappointing for the price and I've NEVER had a thinner piece of fish. Next time, I'll try a different spot. Didn't dislike this one and if the lines were long in other spots, I would go again. I just wouldn't have high expectations.

I had the occasion to eat here twice in 5 days while on layovers. While the name SWETT’S BBQ is slightly misleading, I was not disappointed. This is a counter serve fast southern style restaurant. Our server was all alone at the moment we arrived but quickly took good care of us as soon as she finished with other customers.
I had fried pork chops, beef tips, collard greens and broccoli casserole. I’ll just say that I ate every last bit and that it all had ten times the flavor of today’s lunch at Ol’ Red across the way.
The variety here is good. Seating is shared with other counter serves but is ample and within an easy listen to the live music.
Definitely a do again.

Stuck at the airport, and decided to swing by here for lunch. Opted for the pulled pork, turnip greens, and mac and cheese. The first two were really good (from a yankee's perspective, and the portion was fair for the price; which has never been my experience with airport food. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're at BNA and need some food.

Meatloaf was okay, the sauce is watered down so it lacked flavor, the sweet potato casserole was excellent and then there's the canned turnip green's that was just dumped from the can into the warmer. It would be nice to have some effort put into the food since you're charging airport prices. I paid $21 for a meat and 2 sides and a bottle water.

As the first customer to try their newest addition to the menu, I can tell you that the Jerk Chicken was AMAZING!!! So very very flavorful!!! I’ve had Jerk that’s too stinging hot spicy or too fruity but this recipe landed right on the centerline of maximum flavor!!! I teased Shelly & Jamel the GM & Assist GM respectively asking Where’s the Rice & Peas!! ?? They said if the Jerk Chicken takes off and is popular they have some for my next trip thru BNA!! ?? When I used to live in Nashville, before the Great Invasion by Californians, Swett’s was one of my favorite Meat & Three’s in town! The best of southern food around. And this airport location serves the same level of delicious southern cravings as the original! And I love how Shelly & Jamel take great pride in what they’re serving! You cannot go wrong with the fried chicken or the meatloaf! But it was great trying Jamel’s Jerk Chicken!!! Highly recommend that you stop and grab you a plate when passing thru BNA!! It’s WORTH THE WALK from the A & B & D gates to get to the middle of C Terminal for their great Southern Hospitality!!!

Place has a great barbecue sandwich! My son said the meatloaf was amazing. I screwed up my order when I was paying attention to my son, but they made it right for me which was really awesome. Thank you Michelle for excellent customer service & great food!!!

I went here after getting off of my flight and I did not get the meat so I can't speak on that but the sides were really yummy. That sweet potato souffle was good, the baked beans and the dinner roll. Definitely a place I'll come back to. I'll have to try the other location also
