We went on a Sunday afternoon. The food was pretty good, but not out of the ordinary incredible.
What is really getting me is the bill at the end of our meal and the service we witnessed. We ordered 3 drinks for $7.00 not including tax and were charged $24.00. Not knowing chips and salsa wasn't free we agreed to it. As it ended up we got chips with salsa Verde that wasn't $5.00 as the menu states, but rather was a $13.99 appetizer sampling that wasn't on the menu. Emma the waitress stated that she was new and it was only a $1.50 overcharge. She never offered that ridiculous compensation even though my giving wife gave her a 20% tip of $15.14 for her service.
Buyer beware of this establishment and check your bill before you pay.

Salsa and guac were great and staff was very friendly and helpful but all 6 dishes our group ordered were super spicy but none of us specified that. Great flavors if you could deal with the spice but a lot of our group couldn’t so it dominated. Maybe just a recommendation to dial back or balance the spice levels.

Service was great, my server had a trainee and they were both very pleasant and knowledgeable. Cocktails were good and after trying quite a few taco places around Nashville, these were in my top favorites! Interesting layout and fun vibes.

I love that taco mamacita relocated to Germantown! It’s such a great spot to grab tacos to go or dine in for a quick bite. The bar is a cool area - especially in the warmer months when it extends to the outside patio. All of their food is pretty good, but my favorite is he’ll getting the sloppy jose as a taco bowl over rice (all bowls have a lettuce base as the standard, but I recommend adding rice to it)! I also enjoy all of the drinks on the menu and the queso!
