The cheese dip with beef was ok needed more beef. But they're tacos and rice was horrible. The rice wasn't even edible it tasted like the smell of dog crap. Im sorry but I wouldn't recommend the site say it's the best Mexican restaurant when it tastes horrible. I had the taco royale which almost made me puke. I've never written a review but that wasn't worth 50.00. The waiters were excellent very professional and the atmosphere was great but I think they should have taste testers to try there food before putting it on the menu. When I saw a lot of food on the other customers plates left I should have left. The reviews deceived me and recommended not going by reviews on people saying this was delicious. Sorry

Food is excellent, more Cali/Baja not traditional fajitas. I had nachos w shredded beef, guac, chipotle sauce, red onion etc. Margaritas are great. I go on the weekends before the dinner crowd while running errands. Usually couples and families. Each time I have been many babies ?. When is it just adults? Cool atmosphere indoor/patio. I definitely recommend this place.

Kid-friendliness: Early bird and Friday evenings I have seen too many little kids. All locals.

I did not like the taste of both the tacos at all. Ordered vegan jerk and avocado tacos. Did not expect them to taste so sweet and bland. The taco sheet also felt stale idk it was breaking into pieces. Sweet potatoes were okay.

The wait at Monell’s was too long, so we walked across the street and tried Taco Mamacita. It was amazing! The decor was lovely, and the staff were cheerful. But the food was the best part of the experience. Menu items are so interesting and appealing that we had a hard time deciding. Everything we chose was fantastic!! We had two different “quesaladas”, nachos to share, birria tacos, jerk tacos, and steak tacos. I highly recommend the quesalada suizas. The street corn and plantains were both outstanding.

I had the pollo con mole, with sweet potato fries and a chopped salad. I enjoyed the colorful, tiny-chopped salad with jicama. And the rotisserie-cooked chicken was delicious with a rich and flavorful mole that had just the right amount of kick. The fries were crisp and well-seasoned. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free options, and the interior was well designed. A very nice lunch experience overall!

Bianca and Nicole were the BEST servers!! Very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and what to recommend. My strawberry margarita and quesalada carnitas were divine! I would highly recommend Taco Mamacita to anyone that was looking for a delicious tex-mex spot!! Will be coming back soon!

Bianca was amazing. She took care of everything we needed and there was no delay. My wife and I decided to stop by Taco Mamacita after a long day on Broadway seeing the sights and sounds as our air b&b was located in Germantown. The service and atmosphere exceeded expectations. If you are feeling delicious Tex-Mex in the Nashville area, I urge you to check out Taco Mamacita in Germantown. You will not be disappointed!
